Description

SEON is the command center for fraud prevention and AML compliance, helping thousands of companies worldwide stop fraud, reduce risk and protect revenue. Powered by 900+ real-time, first-party data signals, SEON enriches customer profiles, flags suspicious behavior and streamlines compliance workflows - all from one place. SEON provides richer data, more flexible and transparent analysis, and faster time to value than any other provider on the market. We’ve helped companies reduce fraud by 95% and achieve 32x ROI, and we’re growing fast, thanks to our partnerships with some of the world’s most ambitious digital brands like Revolut, Wise, and Bilt.

We’re hiring a Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager to own our competitive program end-to-end: meaning you’ll define the strategy, gather and synthesize intel, activate it across GTM and product teams, support sales in the field, and continuously measure and evolve the program—helping us uncover new business opportunities, drive revenue, and sharpen our position in the fraud prevention and AML compliance space.

We’re looking for someone who’s naturally curious and resourceful, with a knack for uncovering hard-to-find insights, cutting through the noise of a crowded market, and turning scattered anecdotes into meaningful trends. You’re someone who loves to understand how things work – especially when it comes to product differentiation – and you take pride in translating that understanding into clear, actionable guidance. If you thrive on turning complexity into clarity and enjoy working cross-functionally to drive meaningful impact, this role is for you.

This position is a hybrid role located in our Austin, TX office.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive CI strategy: monitor competitive moves, emerging threats, pricing changes, new product launches, partnerships, and market shifts in real time.
  • Conduct primary (e.g. field interviews, deal-call participation) and secondary (e.g. public filings, analyst reports, blogs, technical documentation, competitor websites) research to build a robust competitive database.
  • Develop and maintain competitive enablement such as battlecards, feature‑comparison matrices, win/loss analysis summaries, objection-handling plays, and other resources that equip sales and customer-facing teams.
  • Provide strategic support throughout the sales cycle—attending key prospect or customer calls to inject competitive perspective and help navigate head-to-head situations.
  • Feed lessons from the field back to marketing and sales enablement to inform messaging, campaigns, and positioning adjustments—also spearheading targeted campaigns when competitor moves emerge.
  • Own CI knowledge management: ensure sales teams have up‑to‑date talking points, FAQs, competitive updates, and market context via internal channels and evergreen training.
  • Collaborate with product teams to translate competitive and market insight into roadmap guidance and differentiation strategy.
  • Evaluate competitor technical architectures, translating technical findings into business-impact assessments.
  • Continuously optimize how we use competitive intelligence tools and workflows, leveraging the latest AI capabilities to increase efficiency and accuracy.

WHAT YOU’ll BRING:

  •  5+ years of competitive intelligence/strategy in enterprise B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on experience creating battlecards, competitive playbooks, win/loss analyses, and supporting sales in live calls.
  • Strong technical aptitude enabling credible engagement with engineering teams, data scientists, and technical prospects during competitive evaluations.
  • Experience conducting hands-on technical evaluations of competitor platforms.
  • Proven ability to turn raw data, competitor signals, and field intel into actionable sales plays, positioning shifts, and product guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable gathering data from varied sources, synthesizing it into crisp, compelling insights.
  • Proven ability to turn competitive insights into actionable recommendations for product and GTM teams, with a focus on measurable impact through sales effectiveness and win/loss outcomes.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing—able to present complex competitive landscapes effectively to diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Self-starter: highly collaborative across functions (sales, marketing, product, CS), with an ability to manage CI initiatives end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with CI tools (e.g. Klue, Crayon) and market intelligence platforms.
  • Domain expertise in fraud prevention, AML/KYC compliance, cybersecurity, or related field.
