The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to define how Sharp is understood, talked about, and trusted.

At this stage of the company, clarity is a competitive advantage. This role owns that clarity.

You will shape how we articulate our value: what we are, who we serve, and why it matters. You’ll sharpen our focus on the right customers and ensure Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success operate from the same foundation. Just as importantly, you’ll bring the voice of the customer into strategic conversations, grounding decisions in insight rather than assumption.

This is not surface-level messaging work. It’s about building conviction across the company and credibility in the market.

If we succeed, it will be because customers quickly grasp our value, our team moves with alignment, and our product evolves in response to real-world signal. This role sits at the center of that effort.

What You’ll Own

  • Company-Wide Clarity: Define how Sharp is understood: what we are, who we serve, and why it matters. Establish positioning and messaging that align Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success around a single narrative. 
  • Strategic Customer Focus: Define who Sharp is built for through disciplined customer research and market analysis. Codify ideal customer profiles and competitive differentiation.
  • Voice of the Market: Build structured feedback loops that surface real customer and competitive signals, and bring that signal into leadership decisions. 
  • Product Evolution & Launch Discipline: Partner with Product to shape how our platform scales beyond 1:1 coaching. Ensure coaching and technology reinforce one another, and introduce new capabilities with clarity and intention. 
  • Go-to-Market Strength & Function Build: Equip Sales and Customer Success with clear narratives and credible materials that increase confidence and win rates. At the same time, build product marketing into a durable function with documented positioning, ICPs, and launch playbooks.
  • Pricing & Packaging Rigor: Partner with leadership to bring clarity and structure to pricing and packaging. Ensure our offerings are easy to understand, aligned to customer value, and equipped with clear objection handling that strengthens sales conversations and reinforces differentiation.
  • Customer Adoption & Advocacy: Partner with Customer Success to strengthen adoption, engagement, and expansion. Develop messaging and programs that help customers fully realize value, and surface credible customer stories that build trust and fuel growth.

Who Thrives Here

Sharp and this role is not for everyone. You will likely thrive if you:

  • Have 5+ years of marketing experience, with meaningful product marketing leadership
  • Have influenced a marketplace product direction through customer and competitive insight
  • Are a strong writer who can turn complexity into clarity
  • Ask thoughtful, sometimes uncomfortable questions
  • Communicate through story. You don’t just present facts; you frame problems, stakes, and outcomes in ways that move people.
  • Are comfortable operating without full information
  • Create structure where none exists
  • Feel genuine respect for military, law enforcement, firefighters, and other high-accountability professions

You should want to build (not inherit) a function. And you should be motivated to grow into a broader leadership role over time.
