The Billtrust Sales Enablement Specialist will have the opportunity to contribute to our growing success by facilitating our training efforts for the Sales and Marketing groups. In this role, you will develop and implement successful, on-going training programs. This includes but may not be limited to onboarding new sales hires and training and development of internal teams with primary focus on sales and business development. As part of the Sales Training team, the Sales Enablement Specialist will create, conduct, and evaluate training workshops for internal Billtrust applications remotely. You will create course guidelines, deliver training courses and build out a knowledge base which includes supporting documentation. Success in this role is measured by your ability to empower our sales teams to drive revenue.
What You'll Do:
- Develop a training strategy for the team including creating a yearly training plan
- Create and conduct onboarding training courses and ongoing learning and development programs for sales and marketing departments
- Create and update training materials including new hire content to supplement instructor led course delivery
- Develop training curriculum including definitive learning objectives, associated learning activities and documentation to support instructor led training for Billtrust employees
- Partner with departmental SMEs to create and maintain training content
- Incorporate feedback from class participants and other training stakeholders to improve and expand curriculum and teaching methodology
- Maintain proficiency in Billtrust company culture, policies, software and products necessary to execute training classes
- Maintain practical experience configuring and using the Billtrust suite of products consistent with course teaching responsibilities
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of proven success in either a sales training role or experience in sales for a high-growth SaaS based company
- Advanced presentation skills and a strong desire to share knowledge both in-person and remote delivery
- Ability to effectively conduct training sessions for small and large groups in a variety of organizational levels
- Highly-organized and experienced in multitasking to keep up with the demands of a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong written communication skills with the aptitude to design curriculum and create presentations
- Bachelor's degree in related field highly preferred
