Role Overview
We’re looking for a strategic, consumer-obsessed Product Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead go-to-market efforts, uncover deep customer insights, and build compelling narratives around our footwear collections. You will work cross-functionally to bring products to life across channels and touchpoints, ensuring that what we make and how we market it directly improves our customers' lives.
Key Responsibilities
Voice of the Consumer
- Act as the internal champion for customer needs and preferences.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify pain points, usage patterns, and emotional drivers.
- Translate insights into product positioning, messaging, and feature prioritization.
Product-Market Fit
- Collaborate with product development and merchandising to ensure product concepts resonate with market demand.
- Identify and define customer segments for new and existing products.
- Analyze market trends and competitor performance to assess positioning and differentiation.
- Use customer insights and competitive understanding to validate the product roadmap
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution
- Lead the creation and execution of GTM strategies for new product launches, seasonal collections, and evergreen lines.
- Define product launch goals, timelines, success metrics, and cross-functional workbacks.
- Align product messaging across digital, retail, PR, and performance marketing.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Brand, Growth, Creative, CX, and DTC teams to ensure unified execution.
- Drive alignment through detailed briefs, timelines, and clear communication.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to evaluate performance and optimize marketing tactics post-launch.
Evergreen Product Storytelling
- Develop compelling and cohesive product narratives that reinforce the value of Vessi’s evergreen products.
- Own the briefs to refresh positioning and creative based on product lifecycle stages, audience needs, and seasonal relevance.
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all brand touchpoints.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in product marketing, or related roles in a consumer-facing company.
- Proven track record of launching successful products with measurable impact.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; storytelling comes naturally to you.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
