Job Description:
The Edge AI Silicon Product Marketing Director is responsible for defining and driving the development of our next generation chips targeted for the edge AI server, IoT gateway hardware products. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and sales to identify market opportunities, define product requirements, and drive product development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the edge AI and IoT markets, silicon product development, and a proven track record of launching successful silicon products.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for edge AI server and IoT gateway silicon products.
- Analyze customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends to inform product development.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the edge AI and IoT ecosystems.
Product Definition and Requirements:
- Define and prioritize product requirements for edge AI server and IoT gateway silicon products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps and release plans.
Product Development and Launch:
- Work closely with engineering teams to drive product development and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans.
- Manage product launches, including product announcements, demos, and customer support.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Manage product lifecycles, including product updates, refreshes, and end-of-life planning.
- Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure product availability and quality.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, including sales, customer feedback, and market trends.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, sales, and executive teams.
- Manage external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience: 10+ years of experience in silicon product management/marketing, with a focus on edge AI and IoT products. Skills:
- Strong understanding of edge AI and IoT markets, including customer needs and competitor activity.
- Experience with silicon product development, including product definition, requirements, and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, including product updates, refreshes, and end-of-life planning.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with edge AI and IoT technologies, including AI accelerators, IoT protocols, and edge computing architectures.
- Understanding of silicon design and development, including system design, mechanical design, and thermal management.
The base range is $230,000-$265,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to convert to a full-time regular position.
