We want a senior PMM leader to join us and build a team to promote our dedication to customer business value.


The Value Selling PMM role is high impact, and requires a results-oriented, experienced product marketing leader to be successful. You will hire and grow a team, working directly with Sales and Pricing Leaders, Product Management, and all Marketing disciplines to demonstrate the quantifiable value of choosing Cloudflare solutions over the competition. You will develop tools, systems, messaging and campaigns that drive greater awareness of the ROI and TCO of investing in Cloudflare. You will support new customer acquisition and account expansion by mapping Cloudflare’s product and service offerings to measurable business outcomes for customers buying centers.


You will bring a consultative approach to the role and develop TCO and ROI value models based on customer business outcomes. You will develop a complete understanding of Cloudflare’s advantages over the competition to develop customer-centric value messaging. You will display a deep understanding of the differences between cloud vs. on-premises solutions, CapEx vs. OpEx, and you will be comfortable presenting to customers and sellers


Data-driven approach with a bias towards action, you will enjoy this role if you like working with fast-paced teams and having autonomy to drive your initiatives. This role is a part of our Solutions Team in Product Marketing team and reports into our Senior Director of Solutions Product Marketing. This will be a highly visible role within the organization, which will have a significant impact on the long-term growth of the fast-growing Cloudflare business.


Responsibilities


  • Provide leadership for all value messaging, competitive analysis and positioning, product launch management, GTM strategy, sales enablement, and customer insights to inform sales and marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Understand and exploit the weaknesses of both box vendors as well as cloud providers and their competitive weaknesses in the buying process.
  • Evangelize Cloudflare products and value to analysts, prospects, and customers—in meetings, webinars, conferences and tradeshows.
  • Be the voice of value selling to the sales and marketing team.
  • Develop messaging that proves Cloudflare’s differentiation.
  • Build competitive intelligence and PMM as a practice within the marketing organization
  • Partner with demand generation and expansion marketing teams to generate awareness, adoption, pipeline and revenue around the topic of value creation
  • Provide support for the field sales teams in the form of sales plays for both mid-market and enterprise
  • Partner with our Analyst Relations team to establish Cloudflare as a leader in this space.


Requirements


  • 8+ years of experience in technology product marketing/product management.
  • Experience at one or more application performance/reliability vendors.
  • Knowledge of how the Internet works, including web applications, CDN, HTTP, DNS, Load balancing.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills. This role demands someone who is gifted in their ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including product management, sales, comms, and marketing.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate unforeseen obstacles gracefully.
  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative cloud services company.
  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field
