Sr. Product Marketing Manager


Position Summary:


The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is responsible for all activities designed to reduce the sales cycle by creating awareness, creating a positive brand image and story, providing educational collateral, clearly articulating MeridianLink’s differentiation, and targeting the right audiences for MeridianLink. Also, the role is responsible for internal and external communication strategies and execution. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for identifying the market fit for our products, articulating our value propositions, and developing campaign strategies. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager will perform market research on new products, establish a timeline for developing products, influence pricing and packaging, guide sales teams, and develop messaging and market positioning around products. The role will articulate outbound tasks necessary to clearly explain the benefits of product features and translate them into customer-facing messaging. This role will create and implement customer case studies.


Expected Duties:


  • Sr. Product Marketing Manager will work on projects with a lasting impact on the company
  • Act as developer and leader in teaching departmental and company policies/techniques
  • Responsible for performing market research on new products, establishing a timeline for developing products, influencing pricing, and packaging, guiding sales teams, and developing messaging and market positioning around products
  • Responsible for articulating outbound tasks necessary to clearly explain the benefits of product features and translate them into customer-facing messaging
  • Expected to assist sales with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful, develop customer-facing presentations, update the website, and outline the marketing programs required for demand generation
  • The role will lead product demonstrations at trade shows and on webinars, delivering presentations to customers and prospects, as well as create marketing collateral


Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Sr. Product Marketing Manager will have a full understanding of the areas of responsibility for the role and perform all aspects of the role independently. The role may have work that includes new, highly complex, or highly impactful to the business.
  • Expected to be highly skilled and proficient in the subject area
  • Ability to conduct complex, important work under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • B2B SaaS experience is required
  • Mortgage industry experience is highly preferred

Salary range of $104,000 - $146,800. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
