ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:


As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will help TKWW create an exceptional marketplace experience to help couples find their dream wedding team – from product discovery and solutioning to go-to-market planning and execution. You will partner closely with product management, design, research and go-to-market teams, ensuring that our customers’ voice is reflected in our products and messaging.


You will drive customer insights to inform product development, develop differentiated and customer-backed product positioning, and partner with Marketing and Channel teams to drive product adoption and engagement. You will work with passionate, talented individuals committed to helping couples find vendors that meet their budget and needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Product Positioning - Craft differentiated product positioning and respective messaging, including key product claims and other artifacts to drive overall product awareness, consideration and usage.
  • Customer Insights & Advocacy: Leverage and drive market and competitive research to become a strong advocate and voice for our existing and prospective user needs and help shape the product roadmap.
  • In-Market Testing & Experimentation: Generate hypotheses and work with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments to improve marketplace KPIs.
  • Go-To-Market Planning & Execution: Partner with marketing channel owners to launch, track and optimize notable releases.
  • Content and Asset Development: Develop and execute content, assets and communication needs for key marketplace initiatives including in-product messaging and email communications.
  • Market Intelligence – Proactively stay on top of competitors’ strategies and market trends and drive follow-up actions.


SUCCESSFUL SENIOR MANAGER, PRODUCT MARKETING (MARKETPLACE) CANDIDATES HAVE:


  • Minimum 5-7 years product marketing experience
  • Experience marketing to small businesses strongly preferred
  • Works well cross-functionally, particularly with product, creative and channel teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy based on market research and customer insights.
  • Track record of using “test & learn” to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritizing and organizing effectively
  • Outstanding writer and editor with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong player-coach mentality, excels at strategic thinking as well as rolling up sleeves to get things done
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with all levels of management
  • Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record
