Social Media Manager

As a key member of our marketing team, you will manage our online presence on multiple platforms, craft engaging copy, and collaborate with our content creators to produce some amazing digital assets. You will lead all social media initiatives, sharing Fortified’s unparalleled cybersecurity services with the healthcare market. Come be a part of the expanding Fortified team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Create and manage social calendar for routine posts (new hires, holidays) and planned events (product launches, trade shows, speaking engagements, etc.)
  • Work with marketing division leaders to promote key corporate initiatives, campaigns and events via social media
  • Generate/write, design, publish and share posts, stories and video that align with strategic goals and brand guidelines research and incorporate relevant hashtag strategies, iterate and expand as needed
  • Identify trends in user and customer interactions, plan strategies and tactics to build online community and increase follower base
  • Use social listening tools and leverage them to expand understanding of competitive landscape and customer sentiment. Be the eyes and ears of the company by monitoring the online conversation and becoming intimate with the brand’s target audience
  • Engage with other brands, channel partners, clients and trade associations to increase brand awareness and recognition of Fortified’s subject matter expertise
  • Amplify aided and unaided brand awareness of Fortified, its culture and value proposition(s)
  • Evangelize social media throughout Fortified’s culture, encourage employee adoption and engagement on Fortified’s social channels
  • Identify paid social opportunities and social campaigns that support brand and revenue goals. Track ROI and iterate as needed
  • Stay up to date with current trends in social media and adapt marketing strategies to changes in algorithms
  • Work with leaders in the Fortified ecosystem to create unique and impactful content that can be shared on social channels
  • Work closely with the Manager of Growth Marketing and the Product Marketing Manager to ensure social media strategy/execution ties into the acquisition/retention funnel
  • Tap into relevant business and cultural moments, trends, and social listening to ensure our brand is operating in the most engaging, progressive fashion
  • Manage any new social media platform strategic roll-out
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media activity
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key social media influencers in the cybersecurity industry
  • Stay up to date on new social media tools and best practices; monitor competitors and other social media leaders to see how they are using them to be the early adopter of technologies
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Education & Experience
  • College degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years marketing/social media experience
  • Demonstrated digital strategic planning skills
  • Deeply community driven - engaged in social media world and how to leverage that network for our higher goals
  • Proven track record of executing social media campaigns across various platforms
  • Independent and well-organized with strong project management skills
  • Strong writing skills with ability to create editorial content in real-time (samples required)
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong organization skills; self-directed and works effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
  • Strong Experience with content planning and analytics tools
Special Skills & Knowledge
  • Advanced user of social scheduling, reporting and listening platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout, Buffer io, Hubspot, etc.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite required
