ModMed is hiring a driven Senior Sales Enablement Specialist to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing team. The Senior Sales Enablement Specialist role is essential in establishing the organization at the forefront of sales excellence. More than a traditional training role, it focuses on innovation and enhancing the capabilities of the sales teams through a broad spectrum of training methods and enablement tools. Serving as a conduit and consultant, the Senior Sales Enablement Specialist ensures cohesive collaboration and alignment across various departments/functions/specialties. A critical aspect of this role involves measuring training and ensuring that sales enablement delivers clear value. This is an exciting opportunity to support sales reps to drive revenue, improve skills, and maintain overall sales effectiveness within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!


Your Role


  • Develop Continuous Learning Pathways: Create ongoing learning and development plans for sales representatives and leaders. This includes identifying skill gaps, developing advanced training modules, and ensuring alignment with the full employee lifecycle.
  • Design and Implement Onboarding Programs: Develop and refine comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales team members. This involves assessing training needs, creating content, and continuously iterating the program to ensure it aligns with the latest sales strategies and market trends.
  • Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Utilize data analytics to assess sales performance and identify areas for improvement. This involves analyzing sales metrics, providing insights, and recommending strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Sales Enablement Content Development: Oversee the creation and curation of a comprehensive library of sales enablement content, including playbooks, training materials, and best practices, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively address sales team needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy alignment. This includes participating in cross-departmental meetings and coordinating joint initiatives.
  • Training on Sales Systems and Tools: Optimize and conduct training sessions on key sales systems and tools, such as CRM platforms and CPQ software. This includes creating instructional content and leading hands-on training sessions.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Act as a mentor to other sales enablement professionals, sharing expertise, insights, and best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the sales enablement team.
  • LMS Administration and Project Management: Assist in the management of the Learning Management System (LMS) and take on additional projects as required, contributing to the overarching success of the sales enablement function.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Skills & Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or related field; MEd or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in sales enablement or similar role.
  • Experience working for a SaaS-based company is strongly preferred.
  • PMP and/or ATD Certification a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in using training software, CRM systems, and other sales-related tools.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and personalities within the sales team.
  • 25% required travel to various company locations or client sites.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate training sessions across different time zones.
