The role:

As the Senior PMM of Competitive Intelligence & Enablement, you will own two missions:

  1. Commercial enablement: You will develop end-to-end education programs and content that empower our customer-facing teams to communicate the value of Spendesk with one voice and differentiate it in the market.
  2. Competitive intelligence: You will keep your finger on the competition’s pulse by running regular market research initiatives and integrate your findings in your enablement programs, as well as inform the GTM strategy and the product roadmap.


The ideal candidate will have strong experience in competitive analysis, content development and commercial support. You will be measured by your ability to increase pipeline velocity, Win rate and ARPA.


This is a critical role at Spendesk that will influence our product, sales and marketing strategy. You can be based anywhere in the EU, either fully remote or in one of our offices in London, Paris, Lyon, Berlin, or Hamburg.


Responsibilities: 

Commercial Enablement

  • Build and execute a strategy to increase knowledge of our product and competition among customer facing-teams
  • Ensure internal teams understand the problems our product solves and can speak to its value and main use-cases with confidence
  • Ensure internal teams are ready and aligned before new product and feature releases,
  • Equip commercial teams with the collateral and PMM assets they need in order to engage with prospects through the entire customer journey
  • Establish an ongoing feedback loop to ensure the enablement needs of the commercial teams are regularly monitored, prioritized, and acted upon.

Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct market research and analysis of category competitors’ go-to-market strategy and messaging
  • In partnership with your fellow PMMs, develop competitive positioning and differentiated messaging
  • Contribute to product roadmap prioritization and GTM strategy by regularly sharing your competitive insights.


Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience in Product Marketing, Market Analysis, Competitive Intelligence and/or Commercial Enablement, with a focus on enabling B2B commercial teams
  • Experience conducting market analysis, creating collateral and internal enablement sessions
  • Experience crafting, adapting and packaging messaging in impactful content for different commercial contexts
  • Experience educating and evangelising on the value of a product to commercial teams


Skills

  • A strong writer and communicator who creates internal and customer-facing content that is broadly leveraged
  • A storyteller who can tailor narratives and messaging that resonate with specific audiences
  • A results-oriented individual who tracks the impact of your work
  • This is a highly cross-functional role that involves partnering with Enablement, Product, Sales, Customer Success and Research. The ability to build strong relationships and get things done is essential
  • High empathy and understanding of the commercial teams’ main challenges
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and jumping in when ownership is unclear
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in French or another European language is highly advantageous.
