Senior Product Marketing Manager

North Reading, MA

Teradyne’s Defense and Aerospace Division is the leading provider of high-performance test systems, subsystems, instruments and service for the defense and aerospace markets. Our test products are used to ensure the readiness of military and commercial aerospace electronics systems. New programs, such as tactical aircraft and missile systems, as well as upgrade programs, continue to fuel the demand for high performance test systems in this market.

Teradyne’ Defense and Aerospace business is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for its Automatic Test Equipment business with 10+ years of technology business/marketing experience. In this role, the individual will be responsible for all marketing functions for our Services Business from defining the business strategy to product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes business strategy development, working closely with Engineering in implementing the strategy, with Manufacturing/Operations and with the Sales and Support teams on the strategic design wins to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

This is a hybrid role.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define the overall strategy that ensures the success of the business in both the short and long term.
  • Establish an action plan with key metrics that ensure success in a highly competitive marketplace including segmentation, positioning, pricing and communications
  • Creating and executing services and product development programs through introduction to customer success
  • Manage the business forecast, all customer interfacing including proposals and pricing.
  • Ensure the development of all supporting material including competitive differentiation, pricing strategy, collateral and work directly with the Sales team on targeted accounts.


Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required


  • 10-15 years of product management experience
  • Degree in electrical engineering
  • Demonstrated success is development, manufacturing integration and customer support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time
