Sales Enablement Trainer

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations.

What you’d be doing in this role

The Sales Enablement Trainer is a highly visible position focused on providing excellent sales and success training for our growing Sales and Success team at Canva. In this position, you will work closely with the Sales Enablement team, Product, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to coordinate, lead, provide feedback on, and manage training programs.

This role is responsible for providing world-class learning experiences for new hires across Austin, London and Sydney, and also continuous skill improvement so our sellers are always on a path of improvement. These trainings will be supported virtually and in person. This role will also work with our leadership to identify skill gaps proactively, map out the content and training needed, and work with the right people to generate these assets.

The person that will succeed in this role is independent, a problem solver, and a great collaborator. This position is a fit for anyone that loves the challenge of training sales and success teams across a variety of skill levels, and pushing everyone to be the best versions of themselves.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Create global training programs that are scalable and inclusive
  • Collaborate with sales and success leaders to create and deliver effective training for their teams
  • Help reps communicate product knowledge and competitive advantages effectively
  • Motivate sales and success teams to excel, promoting a culture of growth and acknowledgment
  • Assist in developing playbooks for reps, provide training, and integrate them into workflows
  • Assign and oversee completion of training tasks for sales and success teams
  • Use current systems to evaluate the success of training initiatives
  • Improve the training system to support sales and success leaders
  • Use data to shape training programs and materials for sellers
  • Support early sales enablement teams through agile project management and shifting roles

You're probably a match if

  • Minimum 2 years training or coaching experience
  • Background in Sales or Customer Service preferred
  • Working knowledge of, Salesforce, Gong, and WorkRamp platforms a plus
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales metrics and enablement strategies
  • Strong multitasking and performance under pressure
  • Effective communicator with change management skills
  • Proficient in copywriting and sequencing
  • Quick learner committed to ongoing improvement

Our Enablement team are a foundational team who support all of our customer facing and revenue generating teams, including enterprise, scaled, and public sector. The team is made up of solutions consultants, enablement strategists, and enablement trainers — all with one focus, to empower our sales and success team to be the best they can be.
