EnergyHub is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to become a product evangelist, helping us meet our revenue targets by effectively demonstrating the value of our products to the market. As a Product Marketing Specialist at EnergyHub, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success by effectively positioning and promoting our products in the utility industry and climate tech space. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, product knowledge, and marketing expertise. The ideal candidate must be analytical and able to conduct quantitative analyses, but also good at synthesizing and telling a captivating story to different audiences. Experience managing cross-functional projects is essential. Experience with utilities or the energy industry is strongly preferred, but not required.


What you will contribute:


  • Understand and support our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users
  • Work with our content team to create compelling and persuasive product marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, product fact sheets, presentations, website content, and case studies.
  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new product launches
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for differentiation. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and messaging.
  • Work with Integrated Marketing to ensure consistent messaging across channels and to develop content for events and speaking opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Client Success, Market Development and Marketing to gather product information, conduct market research, and refine messaging and positioning.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, track key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

What you bring to EnergyHub:


  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the technology or energy industry
  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging
  • Demonstrated experience in developing impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams such as product management, sales, and engineering
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive environmental impact
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint


The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
