Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager!


Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. is currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager, Industrial Print to support our growth initiatives in Industrial Print segments. This position must be held by someone with strategic vision, has a keen understanding of customers’ needs, and can deliver proven results based on company plan initiatives.


A key element of this position will be to demonstrate leadership qualities, in order to drive a message that is concise, accurate, and with measurable results. The Product Marketing Manager, Industrial Print will be a key player of the company’s overall Industrial Print initiatives. As Product Marketing Manager, you will guide various divisions within Konica Minolta, charged with a product line contribution. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to working closely with the Product Management team to review new product / partnership opportunities for the organization.


This candidate will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customers’ problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. This candidate must be able to communicate within all areas of the company. For example, you will work with service and engineering counterparts to define product release requirements and marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • 3-5 years of experience with hardware and/or application solutions or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 1-3 years of experience analyzing different aspects of customers’ needs
  • Excellent understanding of Industrial Print Market industry and oriented print devices
  • Working knowledge of financial metrics
  • Ability to determine ROI on actions taken, to continuously refine activities
  • Understand all aspects of customer wants and needs by market segment (technical and graphics segments), and by market category (vertical market) by working with key industry analysts
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve company goals and objectives
