THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic product marketing manager to join a growing team of high-performing product professionals. As a senior member of the team, you will champion and lead customer research, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement for our pricing portfolio of products. The role requires a combination of critical thinking, customer insight and the ability to go investigate data that is available to determine the right strategy to move the needle on our KPIs. As the successful candidate, you will enable our sales and customer success teams to communicate our value proposition and our competitive advantages by creating and delivering enablement materials, and customer facing content.


The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, a proven leader and excellent presenter, an active listener, agile thinker, believes in storytelling and thinks about the needs of customers first. We’d love for you to have experience in working or in-depth knowledge of either procurement, supply chain management or category management. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will work for our Ottawa office in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales and the wider organization to ensure alignment and the successful execution of a well-developed go-to-market strategy across several different products.


This role will be based out of our Ottawa office working in a hybrid environment.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Define GTM strategy for key solutions, leading strategic launch planning for a range of products and services in our pricing portfolio
  • Clearly articulate market/opportunity sizing, target audience, competitive landscape, critical challenges, GTM strategies, product value prop, price, packaging, and key messaging
  • Work with Product partners to ensure the value proposition and messaging of core technology and features is tailored to the voice of our customers
  • Craft compelling positioning and messaging by segment and proliferate tailored experiences across all customer touchpoints with a solid go-to-market, engagement, and retention strategy in mind.
  • Deliver strategy and guidance to the Marketing team to develop an integrated marketing plan that drives pipeline and bookings
  • Define what content is required to target various personas at each stage of the funnel, ensuring the voice of the customer is always represented in every customer product and marketing experience. You’ll work with our Marketing team to ensure those pieces are optimized to drive leads into the pipeline
  • Develop a comprehensive sales enablement toolkit to empower both Account Executives and Inside Sales to exceed revenue targets. You’ll define sales toolkit content that directly impacts annual recurring revenue goals
  • Cultivate positive relationships across product managers, customer experience, marketing, and leadership to identify and influence impactful product opportunities and prioritize efforts
  • Connect with the product management team to establish a continuous feedback loop encompassing market trends, customer needs, and competitive details
  • Contribute to strategic discussion on product roadmap, pricing, product training, marketing initiatives, collateral concepts, internal processes and sales tools
  • Implement process and workflow that refines and creates efficiencies in our day-to-day activities and engagements
  • Occasionally travel (10%) in support of industry events and customer engagement


WHAT YOU HAVE

  • You are an experienced product marketing manager or can demonstrate a background in turning complex, technical products into impactful stories and messaging coupled with a fundamental understanding of marketing and sales processes
  • Driving the revenue growth of SaaS software and data driven products in B2B engagements is an area in which you have become proficient
  • You are confident in producing successful go-to-market strategy, have strong written and oral communications skills, and can think from a customer’s point of view while considering the needs of the business
  • The ability to collaborate and confidently mediate across teams and subject matter, on all levels of understanding and seniority, is second nature to you
  • You are ready and willing to dive into content creation, spreadsheets and slides to put together a great presentation, mock-up or enablement tool when required
  • An understanding of semiconductor technology and market spaces would be considered an incredible asset, however the ability to quickly learn and subsequently communicate about highly technical subject matter will provide you with the tools you will need to be effective in this role
