About The Team

Product Marketing is a global team of capable, friendly, user-oriented marketers, partnering closely with Stripe’s world-class product and engineering teams.

  • Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe’s product strategy, lead go-to-market for our suite of products, and create and execute campaigns to drive product growth
  • Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Design, Developer Relations, and Communications to name a few
  • Different from many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch

What you’ll do

A large part of Stripe’s business depends on the distribution of products via our Connect audience-base, mainly platforms and marketplaces. Platforms and marketplaces are a unique audience, with a distinct set of needs, goals, and GTM motions. We are looking for an experienced Product Marketer who can own and drive our strategy for acquiring and distributing products among this critical audience.

  • Determine the GTM strategy for emerging product distribution through platforms and marketplaces, and enable cross-functional teams with relevant GTM resources
  • Identify top priority solutions and use cases to drive in partnership with sales, audience PMM and campaigns
  • Conduct UXR and competitive research to understand buyers’ needs (+journey), validate use cases, and develop differentiated value props
  • Develop the core platform/marketplace audience messaging and narratives
  • Create and maintain global evergreen case studies that land our key messages
  • Support platform-impacting product launches, ranging from emerging products to pricing changes
  • Work with demand generation and field marketing teams to Incorporate product launches/solutions into campaigns as relevant
  • Develop content for key solutions and drive priority sales plays, and lead sales trainings and enablement
  • Develop and execute plans to grow multi-product payments attach in partnership with partner marketing

  • A team player. Product Marketers collaborate across the wider Marketing team, PR, product, sales, comms and basically with every team at Stripe. You are able to work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years of work experience that can span marketing, product marketing, product management, operational roles, or strategy consulting
  • At least 3+ years specifically in marketing or go-to-market experience
  • Experience working on marketing or growth throughout a product’s lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with or for Platforms or Marketplaces
