Product Marketing Manager


Reports to: VP of Marketing

Other key relationships: Product Management, Market Development, Sales, and Client Management


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing.
  • Proven track record of boiling down complex technical ideas from multiple stakeholders and into simple, effective messaging.


  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Continuous monitoring of the advancement and collegiate athletic landscapes to ensure a deep understanding of market trends, pressing needs, and emerging challenges.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and market positioning to identify opportunities for differentiation and market penetration.

2. Product Positioning and Messaging:

  • Collaborate with the product team to align product capabilities and market needs.
  • Work closely with sales, and client management teams to understand prospect and customer needs and craft key customer value propositions.
  • Translate product roadmap progress and core insights from our product team to develop clear and compelling messaging.

3. Content Creation and Collateral Development:

  • Collaborate to build high-quality marketing collateral including sales decks, case studies, one-sheets, etc. to educate prospects and customers about our solutions.

4. Sales Enablement:

  • Develop sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, product guides, and competitive battlecards.
  • Provide training and support to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively position and sell our products.


  • Experience working in B2B higher education SaaS.
  • Experience working in or marketing to advancement or athletic departments in higher education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and content.
