Description

In this role, you will:


As a member of the Actabl revenue team, the Product Marketing Manager designs and develops marketing plans and strategies for products with the marketing, product, and sales teams to drive cross-sell, upsell, and new logo pipeline. This includes researching and identifying customer, competitive, and market trends and influences. This role builds and oversees product launches and marketing go-to-market activities. This role reports to the SVP of Marketing.


Typical Functions:


Messaging Champion


Develops and maintains consistent, clearly articulated product messaging and value propositions across all channels. Work with customer stakeholders and internal/industry data experts to build and organize proof points to support solution, product, and company value propositions.


Develops a deep understanding of our customers and how we help them. Be the expert on the market, the available solutions, and Actabl's unique value proposition.


Collaborative Supporter


Develops, organizes, and socializes tools and content to support sales and marketing efforts, including one-sheeters, sales deck, features overview, and training documentation. Work cross-functionally to own the go-to-market strategy for new product features and partnerships. Turn complex technical concepts into clear, jargon-free narratives.


Proactively seeks and incorporates feedback. Asks questions with curiosity and confidence to inform work better.


Competitive Intelligence Synthesizer


Organize, maintain, and socialize competitive intelligence.


Project Manager


Works independently and cooperatively on multiple projects simultaneously. Utilizes project management software to communicate and manage timelines, coordinate feedback, and call out blockers.


Works to meet defined SLAs and project timelines and proactively updates stakeholders. Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions to improve design capabilities. Update and maintain internal databases.


Requirements


  • Has 5+ years of experience in marketing with 3+ years focus in product marketing for B2B software
  • Hospitality industry experience a plus
  • Shows success in launching new products and features into the market
  • Enjoys working remotely within a geographically distributed team
  • Flexibility to travel to company on-sites and events 3-4 times/year
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
  • Is an exceptional writer and communicator
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Natural curiosity and eagerness to improve
  • Pragmatic Marketing framework knowledge a plus
