Product Marketing Manager

The Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Business Unit is looking for a Product Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and carrying out the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You'll also develop marketing collateral and sales tools that will be used by Red Hat's Sales team and partners. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will work cross-functionally and globally with numerous teams, including Product Management, Technical Marketing, Partner Management, Field Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales, and Services. We'll need you to be able to understand customer needs and develop compelling messaging, as you will spend time in front of customers and partners.


What You Will Do


  • Collaborate with product management teams to ensure marketing messaging aligns with the product roadmap and releases
  • Create concise and compelling product messaging that embodies key use cases, including value proposition, positioning, and differentiation
  • Define the go to market strategy for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Create effective global marketing assets and content, including whitepapers, presentations, case studies, solution briefs, web content, data sheets, and sales kits in collaboration with global marketing
  • Collaborate on technical marketing content with technical marketing managers - including technical presentations, labs and white papers
  • Participate in live go-to-market (GTM) engagements like roadshows, workshops, webinars, solutions demos, and industry and partner events
  • Develop and deliver enablement and training activities for Sales, Pre-sales, and Professional Services teams and partners
  • Collaborate with other product teams to create multi-product/solution marketing materials that address customer use cases and pain points


What You Will Bring


  • 2+ years of software industry experience, preferably within an area of infrastructure software, e.g. virtualization, cloud, or systems management
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, computer science, or a related area; a business or economics degree may also be considered depending on experience
  • Evidence of success in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Demonstrated skill in turning messaging and positioning into high-value assets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in an influence-driven, cross-functional environment


The salary range for this position is $80,770 - $129,160 . Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
