Product Marketing Manager

Role Overview:

This role will report to the Head of BD, and will work closely with the CIO, Product, Marketing, and BD teams to increase adoption of endowment style investing by our users and to grow assets under management (AUM) for Gridline.

Gridline is opening up the market for alternative asset investment. As such, you will lead creation and deployment of strategies, content and marketing programs that educate and engage our platform users on the massive opportunity for value creation by funds on our platform.

You will work closely with sales on enablement and user engagement opportunities; you will work closely with the product team to provide a channel for valuable feedback that drives platform innovation and you will work with the CIO team to help inform the investment product roadmap with the voice of the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead user communication, conversion, retention and growth strategy from the point of first Gridline app sign up to the first investment and beyond, with a focus on proliferation of compelling Gridline investment product content.

  • Drive the optimization of core Gridline KPIs including: total customers, AUM committed, capital deployed, average investment per customer, NPS and referred customers.

  • Drive the end-to-end investment product marketing program, from initial strategy definition through creation of program components, execution, success measurement, and reporting.

  • Together with our creative team, design and implement customer marketing campaign assets such as email campaigns, landing pages and creative CTA’s such as webinars, digital experiences and customer events.

  • Drive a campaign calendar for new investment product releases detailing messaging and tactics to be used to drive AUM from individual investors, RIA’s and institutional investors, and the projected results.

  • Own the creation and growth of the Gridline user community forum.

  • Establish and ramp a Gridline customer referral program that drives advocacy and net new user growth from our established user base.

  • Work with the Product team to integrate compelling industry and product messaging into the Gridline platform customer hub.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of marketing and/or product marketing experience, with proven ownership of end-to-end campaign planning from execution to measurable results.

  • Experience in a customer marketing role with a focus on growth, retention and advocacy.

  • Experience building customer forums, content hubs, knowledge bases, customer social networks, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of key marketing principles and best practices across marketing channels including audience segmentation, campaign analytics and key metrics.

  • Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM and marketing automation tools.

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, organizational, prioritization and problem solving skills

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in the fintech or financial markets industry experience is a huge plus. Marketing for SaaS or similar technology is also a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree.
