Product Marketing Manager

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a central role in crafting Exasol’s story to achieve global growth goals. This candidate will be remote, ideally based in England or the United States and report into our Global Head of MarComms.

We are looking for someone who ideally has experience working at a global database company, or BI solution. In this role you’ll be responsible for defining a narrative that enables our sales team to show the value of our in-memory database and support the GTM strategy. The successful candidate will be an accomplished storyteller who can break down technically complex topics into a simple narrative that can be leveraged by sales and demand generation teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Messaging: Build and communicate Exasol’s narrative across the organization and in the marketplace.
  • GTM: Work across the commercial organization to define, develop, and evangelize GTM strategy for existing and new offerings.
  • Positioning: Partner with Product Management on solution-focused value propositions and product positioning for the target personas by use case, working collaboratively across all lines of business.
  • Competitive Analysis: Understand competitive landscape, risk, and opportunity.
  • Sales Enablement: Drive the creation of assets that empower sales to communicate our products effectively to prospective customers.
  • Content: Collaborate across marketing to assist with campaign, website, and thought leadership content.
  • Analytics: Ability to analyze and drive insights from data to make informed decisions.

Your profile:

  • 4-7 years' extensive Product Marketing experience in a high-tech B2B SaaS company.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills that translate highly complex technical subject manner in simple to understand concepts.
  • Ability to create best in class sales enablement assets.
  • Experience developing and executing global GTM plans.
  • Convincing, able to confidently engage with a diverse range of stakeholders and convey their ideas and plans effectively.
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork, collaboration working across multiple teams and geos.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills - able to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently and deliver to agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Previous experience working with a database or BI solution.
