Product Marketing Director

Position descriptionReporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will lead our product marketing efforts. You will define positioning and messaging, enable customer-facing internal teams, deliver effective product launches, and nurture the company’s existing customer base. You will partner with the product organization to bring new products and enhancements to market, telling the Midaxo story in a way that clearly articulates differentiation and value. You will become an expert in every facet of the customer journey.


Responsibilities


Develop a deep understanding of Midaxo’s various buying audiences by conducting research and gathering insights about target personas, buyer needs and pain points, and the purchasing decision process for the organization's products


Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling messaging that clearly articulates the Midaxo value proposition


Lead competitive intelligence gathering and positioning for the product portfolio


Develop core product positioning, pricing and packaging strategies for new and existing products


Develop, oversee and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, updates, releases and features


Provide source messaging documents for use by downstream marketing functions such as demand generation and content and ensure all internal, revenue-focused teams are properly armed to communicate Midaxo's solutions to customers and prospects


Develop initiatives to recruit client case studies, written/video testimonials, etc. for use on the company’s website, collateral and presentations


Build business cases for expanding market presence or entering new markets


Follow a consistent process for conducting win/loss interviews and ongoing analysis to determine customer product adoption


Requirements


10 years of experience in product marketing at a fast-paced B2B tech company


Previous startup experience


Previous SaaS experience


Proven track record of developing and executing a comprehensive product marketing strategy for products with multiple buyer personas


Experience positioning products to both end users and business decision makers


Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills


Experience conducting market, competitor, and customer research to gather insights and assess market opportunities


Highly collaborative, able to work across functional teams


Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Detail oriented, well organized, efficient with time management
