Our core product IP address geolocation powers customers like Netflix, Hulu, Trade Desk, Paypal, AWS, Apple, and many others. Our identity graph solution coupled with accurate IP address geolocation data helps companies determine audience segmentation, ad measurement, and in reaching across digital channels.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Product team. As the Product Manager, you will be the owner of the AdTech/CTV suite of data solutions. You have experience working at an AdTech firm, or in the CTV industry, and have a deep understanding of how data is used by companies to reach their growth goals. You also have experience in classic product management methodologies from product-market research to product launch.

As the owner of this vertical market product suite, you will be responsible to drive the market research, requirement gathering, engineering coordination, partnering with marketing, and supporting sales for products focused on the AdTech and CTV vertical. Your goal is to initially understand the current customers and using your background and understanding of the AdTech, streaming publishers, or broadcasters industry, identify opportunities for new products and features for existing and new customers.

DE’s data is highly valuable in various use cases within the programmatic AdTech industry as witnessed by the number of existing DSP, AdTech, Broadcasting, and Streaming media customers. You will be the product evangelist for this vertical market and will play an integral role in identifying problems to be solved, and creating product solutions using all of our available unique data sets.

This person can work remotely from any of the following states: Arizona (AZ), California (CA), Colorado (CO), Connecticut (CT), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Louisiana (LA), Maryland (MD), Massachusetts (MA), Michigan (MI), New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Pennsylvania (PA), Tennessee (TN), Texas (TX), Virginia (VA), Washington (WA)

Georgia residents are encouraged and welcomed to join us a couple days/week in our Peachtree Corners, Georgia office.

What You'll Do:

  • Be responsible for key market research through online resources, conferences, customer calls, and sales feedback.
  • Identify problems to be solved and target buyer personas for the key problem statement
  • Understand competitive marketplace and create documents that help support positioning of the products/solutions in a competitive marketplace
  • Drive the consolidation of the insights from all of the research to build a solution that uniquely solves specific customer problems within AdTech and related industries.
  • Collaborate with engineering to groom requirements and explain the intention behind the product/solution.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Drive the creation of product collateral in partnership with the product marketing manager.
  • Meet with engineering teams as well as program manager as needed to ensure product development is meeting the product intention and timeline
  • Ensure proper sales collateral and training materials are created before launch of product
  • Train sales on new product launches and features as well as any selling tools
  • Support sales team in customer calls to ensure key product differentiation are highlighted and help push the sales process through product and industry knowledge
  • Support marketing with thought leadership articles and presentations at conferences as needed
  • Develop and evolve market segmentation for each product offering
  • Analyze sales data and channel information and then create plans to improve product line sales
  • Own the roadmap for your product solutions and continue to refine it as new market research and intelligence becomes available

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years experience as a product manager
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to analyze relevant information in ambiguous environments and make informed decisions
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across projects
  • Deep understanding of how a product is sold in AdTech and CTV industry and the channels they are sold into
  • Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
  • Demonstrated success in positioning and launching differentiated products that meet and exceed business objectives
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. The ability to influence and work collaboratively with engineering, sales, and marketing is especially important
