At this stage in our growth, we are seeking an experienced, dynamic product marketing manager with a solid understanding of the key challenges associated with Enterprise digital transformation leveraging IoT who has deep expertise in enterprise security solutions. The successful candidate must have a passion for storytelling and transforming complicated concepts into content that informs, influences, and drives growth. You will help us scale our sales and marketing efforts defining the go to market strategy for the evolving security-related products of our IoT Connectivity platform.

In this role, you’ll develop and execute against short- and long-term go-to-market plans to accelerate revenue growth. You will help product management to shape a competitive and differentiated portfolio through your deep understanding of the market, buyer persona needs, and via strong insights on the competitive landscape. Working closely with sales, you will develop and author compelling messaging, positioning and sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, recorded demos, blogs, whitepapers, videos, and product slicks. Working with marketing, you will inform channel development and help to shape, evaluate, and optimize marketing programs, channels, and conversion funnels, including playing a big role in revamping our website. You will also meet and interact with enterprise customers and channel partners face-to-face, provide timely buyer insights, and help to strategically inform the product roadmap.


  • Customer and Industry Research: Develop an encyclopedic knowledge of target customer segments, their industry dynamics, our competitors, and the operational nature of customers' businesses, to build a deep, fact-based, and data-driven understanding of how Aeris technology uniquely positions them to win. Translate that knowledge into clear insights and digestible materials to inform product development, product improvement, outbound marketing, and sales enablement. This job will require you to get on the phone and out of the building to talk to prospective and current customers face-to-face, to build on an already developed, deep knowledge of the cybersecurity market landscape and buyer personas and needs, and an understanding of the needs and nuances of security for IoT programs.
  • Sales & Marketing Enablement: Produce crisp, clear, scalable and compelling materials for marketing and sales - to support pilots, and full funnel marketing and sales activity. These will include buyer personas, customer stories, website updates, videos, pitch decks, internal training materials, and more. Work with marketing to identify the right channels to reach new prospects, and craft messaging to inspire them.
  • Channel Strategy Development: Identify, investigate, and validate potential sales channels and work with both marketing and sales help to develop and execute channel marketing strategies.
  • Presentations: Be a product spokesperson, both internally and externally. Explain Aeris vision, demo our offerings at events, and showcase the best of Aeris to our stakeholders and customers.

Key Qualifications

  • Experienced B2B product marketer with 10-12+ years of directly relevant experience and a strong understanding of enterprise technology sales cycles and SaaS buyer behavior. Must have 6+ years of network security solution experience.
  • Storyteller and presenter with ability to break down complex concepts into simple and clear terms. Comfortable with creating and delivering presentations at industry conferences, sales events and to internal teams.
  • Resourceful, startup-savvy operator who is excited to help define new products and bring them to market. The successful candidate most know how to start from scratch and iterate continuously in a complex environment without a set playbook. Startup experience is a must.
  • Visual thinker with an eye for compelling graphics that accelerate and anchor customer understanding, and generally for world-class visual design.
  • Strong cross-functional team player capable of engaging all functions - product, marketing, sales, engineering, customer success, executive leadership - to achieve alignment and drive results. Track record managing complex projects with deep knowledge of operational details, project management process, and a willingness to get hands dirty. Experience working at a global company is a big plus.
