Job Description:

The wage range for this position is $140,000 - $150,000 / year, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. This is a full-time position with benefits. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the Tampa office required. (No relocation assistance offered.) Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Employer will not sponsor position for employment visa status now or in the future (ex. H-1B).

You are:

A forward-thinking and self-motivated contributor with a strong payments background. You will support the development and execution of pricing, client dispute resolution, vendor management, and analytics on performance trends. You will work across the business and with internal communications on statement design management that meets our clients' and market needs and drives profitability.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of payment solutions that is focused on the niche shipping, logistics, and mailing markets.
  • Oversee bank offerings to a large portfolio of clients, ensuring successful management of product delivery, service, and operations.
  • Proactively execute Product Management duties including:
    • Assessing market and customer needs.
    • Understanding and communicating the competitive landscape.
    • Identifying strategic options to drive revenue and profit expansion.
    • Managing implementation of product initiatives to position the portfolio and company for success.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to articulate the value proposition and competitive advantages of our products and services.
  • Build and champion a world class customer delivery and experience service model.
  • Analyze leading indicators and portfolio metrics to understand, evaluate and forecast client behavior and trends.
  • Actively manage critical product portfolio KPIs and controls to ensure the satisfactory compliance with all product requirements, regulations, processes, and procedures.
  • Leverage analytical skills to identify and track critical portfolio data, metrics and measures; Identify improvement opportunities and proactively execute on them.
  • Support product pricing implementation including transactional / deal assessments, portfolio return and profitability analysis, and ensure compliance with all laws / regulations.
  • Oversee product reporting, providing transparency and visibility to key stakeholders on performance of underlying product portfolio.
  • Partner with stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Client Services, and Bank Management to ensure terms and conditions are standardized and compliant.
  • Validate new clients monthly and migrate to the appropriate pricing structure.
  • Support requests for reporting and insights, including competitive analysis and portfolio performance data with recommendations on direction for the portfolio.

Your background:

As a Financial Services Payment Product Manager, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA Preferred
  • 5+ years of product development/management, digital and ecommerce experience. Information services or B2B product experience a plus.
  • Understand the lifecycle from point-of-sale through transaction to billing.
  • Customer-centric; thrive on user interactions, feedback, and problem resolution.
  • Experience in digital and ecommerce space.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, especially in the area of payments, i.e., credit card.
  • Collaborative, with flexibility of working with different teams and functions across the business.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage and lead projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.

Preferred

  • Digital experience with online banking/bill paying.
  • Exposure to business case development and product roadmaps.
  • Ability to assist in the development of research and utilize customer insights.
  • Exposure to global business operations.
