McGraw Hill Higher Education is seeking a Product Marketing Manager. In partnership with the Marketing Director will be responsible for the go-to-market and go-to-sales plan, strategy, and execution to exceed revenue goals for our World Languages portfolio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in driving digital growth, through designing thought leadership campaigns, strategic lead generation tactics, building relationships with customers and sales, developing high-impact events, and helping to create quality marketing materials, along with additional demand generation activities to drive leads and support other team goals.
This position can be located anywhere within the United States.
What you will be doing:
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive, strategic marketing plan that involves all go-to-sales and go-to-market strategies and tactics to promote your product portfolio across a variety of channels (email, social, web, relationship selling, etc.).
  • Partnering with stakeholders to write and develop portfolio positioning and messaging in alignment with corporate strategy, and ensure these are effectively communicated to target audiences through the website, digital marketing avenues, collateral and training materials.
  • Creating and leveraging content to support campaigns, including external awareness, training materials and thought leadership content.
  • Conducting customer and internal-facing presentations on a regular basis in both live and virtual environments.
  • Developing sales and training resources to help the organization promote the assigned portfolio, answer customer/rep inquiries, and troubleshoot challenges.
  • Strategizing with sales teams on core business opportunities and train new representatives on your product portfolio, the competition, curriculum and issues and trends.
  • Planning and executing a series of virtual and in-person events - both those hosted by McGraw Hill and in conjunction with professional organizations through conventions.
  • Analyzing market trends and potential market opportunities and participate in market research, market planning, product development, and competitive analysis.
We’re looking for someone with:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of client-facing Sales and/or Marketing experience, preferably in the field of education and/or technology but not required.
  • Strong business writing skills and experience with PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
  • A strong ability to identify, prioritize, and execute marketing objectives to grow market share, promote customer retention, and drive revenue.
  • The ability to make data-informed decisions, track ROI and effectively tell a story with data.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Proven success in managing and delivering virtual and/or live events and conducting compelling presentations—both internally and externally.
  • The ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo and Tableau.
  • Ability to speak Spanish, or other languages.


The pay range for this position is between $85,000 – $100,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
