This is an opportunity to support the LifeStraw Brand and Marketing staff and sales team. This is a hybrid remote role (3 days in office 2 days remote per week) based in our Baltimore, MD, office, working closely with our sales, product and marketing teams.
Marketing Events Coordinator

Job Title: Marketing Events Coordinator Department: Brand/Marketing
Reports to: Channel & Product Marketing Manager Location: Baltimore, MD

Position Overview

The Marketing Events Coordinator will be part of the Brand and Marketing Team reporting to the Channel & Product Marketing Manager. The Marketing Events Coordinator position will support event executions, merchandising, sampling strategies, technical content, and reviews. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented, self-starter with excellent team building and communication skills that thrives in a start-up environment. This position is based at our Baltimore, MD Headquarters.

What You’ll Be Doing – The Essentials Trade Shows & Events:
  • Coordination of trade show and event materials, booth builds and logistics and marketing assets.
  • Coordinate with local vendors to produce event kits, banners, and other field marketing assets.
  • Coordinates samples for trade shows, events, press and other needs.
Product Page Content Development:
  • Audit retailer product detail pages and websites across channels. Ensure most up-to-date assets are present and provided to sales teams for loading of content.
  • Manage content syndication platforms to ensure proper execution, oversight, and maintenance.
  • Audit reviews across retail websites to ensure proper syndication and content.
Office and Sample Management:
  • Maintain inventory of all samples and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate shipping samples to key stakeholders: Media, press, creators, tradeshows and events.
  • Support shipments for customer service replacement parts.
  • Budget, consolidate quotes and cost estimates for events and assets.
Merchandising:
  • Define merchandising asset requirements for marketing initiatives.
  • Understand the unique requirements for in-store merchandising execution across key strategic partners and retail accounts (set dates, execution capability, security requirements, branding restrictions/guidelines, etc.)
  • Coordinate POP, display, shelf-talker and other retail assets, working with vendors to manage cost, logistics, and programs. Coordinate the design with creative team members.
  • Define and manage fixture production and installation with display vendors.
  • Manage in-store auditing for product launches and new sets, analyze and review data with sales and marketing teams.

Experience and Education Profile
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, event coordination or retail role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Business, etc.)
  • Experience with channel and partner programs and working with merchandising and display vendors.
  • Understanding of outdoor / lifestyle industry and in-store retail landscapes.
  • Proficient in relevant software including Excel (MS Office Suite)
Essential Physical Demands and Typical Working Conditions
