We are looking for a talented Market Intelligence Senior Analyst to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Components Business Segment in Florence, KY.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


Supports projects, conducts studies and creates reports to improve the development of market intelligence used to inform strategies and business decisions. Partners with business, strategy, and functional groups to ensure adequate market intelligence is available and considered in decision making.


Supports the development and deployment of effective methods to monitor relevant market trends, competitive threats, and other market activity.


Supports special projects and provides market input to further the understanding of specific aspects of the market.


Collaborates with business teams in the development of the market intelligence required to support business decisions.


Identifies and monitors market developments, synthesizes and communicates market trends, and identifies competitive threats.


Contributes to the development of an unbiased, regular market understanding through the generation of data and insights.


Actively pursues deeper knowledge of the market through internal and external sources.


Promotes a culture of intelligence gathering, insights generation and value-added support.


Facilitates market- and segment-specific information gathering and sharing through appropriate channels.

  • Market Analysis - Research information using meaningful and valid sources and data to expand your knowledge of markets; analyzes findings by connecting dots and identifying trends to create a coherent image of the market; summarizes relevant insights by condensing, prioritizing, and translating how this impact our business.
  • Market Forecasting - Analyzes and interprets market data from a variety of internal and external sources and modeling to formulate unbiased market projections specific to business segment.

  • Storytelling - Develops and delivers a compelling narrative which resonates with a target audience and influences a decision or course of action.
  • Project Management - Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a "project").


Education, Licenses, Certifications


  • College, university or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, business administration, or related subject required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Experience


  • 3-5 years in strategy, business, marketing, or market research
  • Business Analytics experience preferred.


Responsibilities


  • Salesforce Administration Responsibilities: 50%
  • Setup and configure new user accounts on Salesforce.
  • Design and customize Salesforce reports to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and implement approval rules for pricing quotes within Salesforce.
  • Train the sales team on using Salesforce.
  • Initiate and manage the setup of new sales programs on the Salesforce platform.
  • Customer Satisfaction Management: 10%
  • Conduct global customer satisfaction research surveys using the Qualtrics platform.
  • Market Intelligence Tasks: 20%
  • Generate market sizing and market share estimates by country and product type.
  • Develop Product Life Cycle models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Data Systems Maintenance: 10%
  • Collect and analyze sales data from customers to spot market trends.
  • Ensure critical business information is accurately updated in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Create and maintain global market data databases utilizing third-party data sources.
  • Data Visualization and Transformation: 10%
  • Develop data visualization applications using QLIK or Power BI to represent complex datasets in an understandable format.
  • Execute data transformations and analytics using SQL, Alteryx, Python, and R for advanced data processing and analysis.
  • Technical Proficiencies:
  • Proficient in managing and using Salesforce, AS400, and Oracle databases for operational needs.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Qlik for creating insightful data representations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and complex reporting tasks.
  • Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Python, and R for data transformation and analytical tasks, enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.


Compensation And Benefits


Base Salary range commensurate with experience. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
