Responsibilities


The Corporate Strategy Office (CSO) at Draper is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Director to work across the laboratory as we increase our contributions to the warfighter and supporting program offices. This position will operate as an integral member of the CSO team and also work across the breadth of the Draper enterprise to ensure adequate coordination and collaboration across laboratory functions. A successful high-energy, ambitious candidate will be motivated to build deep relationships within across Draper in pursuit of our objectives. This candidate will also be mindful that integrity, competency, and timeliness are important aspects of our growth strategy.


Responsibilities Of This Position Include


  • Understand and define corporate and business area Business Intelligence (BI) needs.
  • Identify and pursue obtaining need BI information from a range of sources including but not limited to: external customer engagement, subcontracted teammates, internal collaboration, etc.
  • Coordinate efforts with CSO, Business Area and Corporate staff.
  • Identify, develop and initiate efforts to better position Draper to support warfighter and supporting program office needs, to include but not limited to: developing an in depth understanding of mission execution and operations, characterizing the adversary threat environment, production and O&S needs.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to team with small business and government innovation cells to bring forward capabilities that could significantly enhance warfighting capability and/or augment or mitigate current industrial base challenges.
  • Other duties as assigned in support of business objectives.
  • On-site presence required to meet assignment objectives; remote work acceptable as suits business objectives.
  • Frequent travel likely.


Qualifications


Required Qualifications:


  • Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibilty required.
  • Engineering, science, business, or technology degree.
  • 10+ years professional experience in a high paced organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to gain actionable business insights and formulate and execute successful campaigns that have produced productive, positive outcomes.
  • Strong ability to develop strong internal and external networks that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly identify challenges and implement ways to conquer those challenges in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to learn and employ modern business collaboration tools.
  • Willingness to operate in uncertain conditions.
  • Experience interacting with and developing trust-based relationships across multiple levels of the organization including with external representatives.
  • Strong appreciation that it takes a team to solve todays warfighting challenges including acquisition and business-related challenges.
  • Unquestionable integrity and commitment to mission execution.
  • Familiarity with highly classified program execution and information handling.
