Reporting to the Sr. Manager - Growth & Strategic Initiatives this role is part of the Biologicals and Chemicals Division. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding analytical, communication, facilitation, interpersonal and influencing skills while working independently or in a team-setting.


Responsibilities:


Market Intelligence Management


  • Drive annual situational analysis process to help advise annual strategy cycle
  • Synthesize market research reports for regular executive review
  • Work independently or in coordination with functional teams to support market and internal analysis
  • Evolve and maintain methodology for market sizing
  • Develop and evolve standard work
  • Present results to team members and leadership through effective use of communication tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and email


Strategy Development and Deployment


  • Analyze markets, develop business strategies, and build plans to advance business objectives
  • Support development of Business Unit and Strategic Business Segment specific strategies
  • Sophisticated business relationship management
  • Set and communicate priorities
  • Use business systems to deploy and manage critical initiatives
  • Partner with team members to achieve goals
  • Lead cross functional teams as an individual contributor to evaluate/analyze new opportunities from customers/commercial/product management (Return on Investment, market research, business case development)
  • Strengthen strategies to increase presence globally


Minimum Qualifications:


  • BS/BA required, major in business or technical field preferred. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience in a bioproduction or life science environment preferred, including working with and supporting global teams, and collaborating with executive level leads.
  • Experience with data warehousing and CRM tools such as Saleforce.com, and data analytics (advanced excel user), Power BI reporting tools desired.
  • Microsoft Office skills required
  • Up to 25% travel

  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis and root cause analysis is preferred.
