Lead Product Marketing Manager

Austin, TX
Job Description: We are looking to extend our team with a Lead Product Marketing Manager for our Quality Engineering solutions. Our solutions help modern Agile development teams accelerate quality releases through fast, automated software testing. As the Lead Product Marketing Manager for our dev/DevOps-focused solutions, you'll help shape our product story and position our capabilities as a "must have" in the market. You'll define product messaging and go-to-market plans, lead product launches and deliver content for demand gen, field sales and partner enablement. You'll be joining a high performing, startup-minded team that is redefining software quality engineering for Agile teams. The preferred location for this position is in one of our offices in Austin, Texas or Atlanta, Georgia in a hybrid-remote capacity (2 days/week in the office, 3 days/week from home).
  • Responsibilities:
    Create and execute a product marketing plan in collaboration with demand gen, sales, product management and senior leadership.
  • Engage with sales, partners, analysts, and customers to develop and demonstrate a deep knowledge on the subject matter.
  • Develop ideal customer profiles, pain points and needs; research purchasing behaviors and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain the messaging, value prop and differentiation for our solution, products and use cases aligned with target audiences and customer segments.
  • Deliver compelling product collateral, including blog posts, ebooks, whitepapers, datasheets, case studies, customer-facing presentations, and videos.
  • Enable our sales organization on how to recognize revenue opportunities, deliver differentiated solutions to customer problems, and establish our business value; create sales playbooks, battlecards and competitive analyses.
  • Lead product launches in close collaboration with product management and GTM functions.
  • Collaborate with demand gen and field marketing teams to generate quality sales leads, market awareness & customer success stories.
  • Collaborate with our AR and PR team to educate industry analysts and media on our product strategy, customer success & market momentum.
  • Evangelize our products, solutions and point of view at conferences and tradeshows, executive programs, and partner events.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or higher in Economics, Computer Science or Marketing
  • A minimum of 5 years of product marketing experience in high technology B2B enterprise software or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can provide work samples, such as whitepapers, ebooks, blog posts or presentations.
  • Significant experience driving GTM programs, including product launches, online/social media programs, sales plays or partner programs.
  • Enjoy speaking at industry events and webinars, evangelizing with analysts and industry groups, talking with customers, creating sales presentations, writing white papers.
  • High energy, self-directed, team player and detail oriented with a sense of excitement both internally and externally for your products and our company.
  • Ability to travel between 10-30%
