Title: Technical Sales Enablement

Location: US based

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Enablement Professional to lead our efforts in empowering our technical sales teams with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to excel. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth by ensuring our sales engineers and solutions architects are equipped to effectively articulate the value of our complex technical solutions to customers. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful enablement programs that accelerate sales cycles and increase win rates.

What You Will Do

  • Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technical sales enablement strategy aligned with overall sales and product goals.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps within the technical sales organization.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and technical content.
  • Content Development & Delivery:
  • Create and curate high-quality technical content, including presentations, demos, white papers, training modules, and competitive battlecards.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, including instructor-led sessions, virtual training, and self-paced learning modules.
  • Develop and maintain a central repository of technical sales enablement resources.
  • Produce and maintain product demonstration environments.
  • Program Management & Execution:
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of technical sales enablement programs, including onboarding, ongoing training, and product launches.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and deliver specialized training.
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other enablement platforms to track progress and measure effectiveness.
  • Organize and facilitate technical sales workshops, boot camps, and certification programs.
  • Sales Team Collaboration & Support:
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to technical sales teams.
  • Gather feedback from sales teams to continuously improve enablement programs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership on technical enablement best practices.
  • Support the creation and delivery of effective RFP responses.
  • Support competitive analysis, and provide sales teams with competitive information.
  • Metrics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze key metrics to measure the impact of enablement programs.
  • Generate regular reports on program effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Present findings to sales leadership and other stakeholders.

What Makes You An Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or sales enablement, with a focus on complex technical solutions.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering successful technical sales enablement programs.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and processes. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other enablement platforms.
  • Experience with cloud computing, SaaS, or enterprise software is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in sales enablement or related fields.
  • Experience with video production and editing.
  • Experience with content management systems.
