Job Description - Technical Product Marketing Manager

Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. We’ve created a new category, and we need a technical storyteller who can help us define it for both developers and customers. This is a unique role: part developer advocate, part technical product marketer. You’ll represent Profound in technical communities, help us attract top engineering talent, and also shape how we communicate our technical differentiators to customers and prospects.

What You’ll Do

  • Build Profound’s presence in developer communities—contribute to forums, events, and content that showcase our technology and attract top technical talent.

  • Develop technical narratives and differentiators that clearly articulate why Profound is different and better.

  • Create and deliver demos, deep-dives, and technical content (docs, blogs, talks) that resonate with engineers, PMs, and technical buyers.

  • Partner with the Growth PM to support adoption and activation initiatives with strong technical proof points.

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to stay ahead of roadmap developments and translate them into compelling market-facing stories.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Success to arm them with the technical materials and training needed to win deals and expand accounts.

Who You Are

  • A strong communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Experienced working with or within engineering teams; you enjoy being close to the technology.

  • Comfortable in front of technical audiences, whether that’s presenting at a meetup, writing a blog post, or demoing product features.

  • Excited about engaging with developer communities and helping build an authentic, trusted presence.

  • Passionate about AI and its impact on how people search, discover, and build.

  • Bonus: Background in developer advocacy, developer relations, product, or technical PMM.

This is an on-site role in our Union Square office—designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and impact.
