As a Technical Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be the bridge between product innovation and market success for HP’s Z portfolio and emerging ZGX category. Your mission is to craft compelling narratives, define go-to-market strategies, and enable sales and partners to win in a competitive landscape. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution — turning technical differentiation into customer value and measurable business impact.
Positioning & Messaging
Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for Z Workstations, ZGX, and related solutions. Translate technical specs into value propositions that resonate with enterprise buyers and developers.
Go-to-Market Strategy
Build and execute launch plans from concept through general availability. Define target segments, buyer personas, and prioritized plays that drive adoption and revenue.
Sales & Partner Enablement
Create tools and resources — playbooks, presentations, battlecards, ROI calculators — to empower sales teams and channel partners. Ensure adoption through training and performance metrics.
Demand Generation Support
Collaborate with demand gen teams to design campaigns that influence pipeline. Monitor performance and optimize based on data-driven insights.
Customer & Market Insights
Lead voice-of-customer programs, gather competitive intelligence, and feed insights back into product and marketing strategies.
Launch Readiness & Operational Excellence
Own readiness checklists, timelines, and post-launch reviews. Maintain a single source of truth for GTM assets and performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Legal to align on packaging, pricing, and launch deliverables.
5+ years in product marketing with proven experience driving GTM execution for B2B solutions (hardware, software, or hybrid).
Technical fluency in compute/hardware ecosystems (GPUs, workstations, accelerators) and ability to simplify complex specs for business audiences.
Experience in AI infrastructure, edge computing, or developer-focused solutions preferred.
Strong storytelling skills for technical and executive audiences.
Metrics-driven mindset with experience setting KPIs and iterating based on data.
Familiarity with channel enablement and co-sell motions at scale.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent technical background.

Salary:
The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $195,000 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
