Essential Functions:
Designs, executes, and optimizes sales enablement programs that drive profitable growth, strengthen agent relationships, and improve sales force effectiveness within assigned regional territories and business units.
Collaborates with Marketing Strategy to align marketing and sales practices, ensuring an effective and dynamic approach for driving profitable growth.
Partners closely with sales leaders, underwriting, marketing/CX, operations, and other business units to ensure agent-facing roles are equipped with the right content and tools to deliver a consistent sales experience.
Evaluates, refines, documents and communicates company-approved sales processes and best practices, ensuring they are consistently and effectively utilized by all sales team members to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implements company-approved best practices to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and accelerate the sales cycle.
Identifies and removes barriers in the sales cycle by gathering feedback from the field and proposing actionable solutions.
. Acts as liaison between sales, marketing, and underwriting to ensure cohesive messaging. Manages technology and content, oversees organization and accessibility of resources in sales enablement platforms and CRM.
Partners with Field sales leadership, underwriting leadership, and marketing/CX on strategy and execution of agency engagement, new product launches, enhancements, and territory expansions.
Acts as liaison for technology solutions supporting distribution and sales (agency portals, CRM platforms, data analytics tools). Supports sales teams on effective use of these tools. Leverages sales enablement tools, CRM systems, and other software to support the revenue process.
Develops, tracks, and analyzes KPIs and metrics to assess effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives and agent engagement. Leverages data and feedback to assess program impact, identify improvement opportunities, and keeps leadership informed.
Supports onboarding and ongoing education of new sales team members.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, finance, marketing, communication, or related field
Ten years of experience in agency management or sales enablement or related field
Experience in commercial P&C insurance
Experience developing and executing sales enablement and agency management strategies to achieve profitable growth
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of property and casualty insurance industry
Advanced understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, CRM systems, and sales productivity tools
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
Excellent knowledge of sales and agency management best practices
Strong ability to perform research and analyze data to uncover opportunities and adapt for optimal results
Ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships by establishing trust, credibility, and adding value
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with emphasis on analysis, critical thinking, and innovation
Excellent strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong ability to lead project teams
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, and proficiency with sales technology platforms (CRM, agency management systems)
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, measure program effectiveness, and make informed recommendations
The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either of the following:
$100,085 - $138,285 or $110,624 - $152,122A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
