We are the one company that combines the deep expertise of a global workforce of revenue cycle professionals with the industry’s most advanced technology platform, encompassing sophisticated analytics, agentic AI applications, and workflow orchestration.
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Sales Enablement to support and execute the commercial enablement strategy that equips R1’s sales and solutions teams to effectively deliver our go-to-market priorities and drive revenue growth. This role plays a critical part in translating strategy into scalable, actionable enablement programs that improve seller readiness, consistency, and execution across the commercial organization.
This role will be a core member of the Commercial Enablement function, working closely with Sales Leadership, Product Marketing, Operations, and business-line leaders. The Senior Manager of Sales Enablement will execute enablement initiatives across onboarding, product readiness, and ongoing field support, while helping operationalize the infrastructure and programs required to scale commercial excellence.
What you’ll experience working as a Senior Manager of Sales Enablement:
- Enablement strategy execution: Support the execution of the sales enablement strategy aligned to R1’s go-to-market motions, revenue priorities, and product roadmap. Translate strategic priorities into structured, repeatable enablement programs.
- Sales onboarding and readiness: Design, manage, and continuously improve onboarding and ramp programs for sales and solutions roles, including certifications, and readiness benchmarks that reduce time-to-productivity.
- Product enablement: Tightly partner with Product Marketing and solution subject-matter experts to deliver effective enablement for new product launches, enhancements, and GTM changes, ensuring the field is prepared to position and sell with confidence.
- Field enablement programs: Develop and deliver ongoing enablement programs focused on sales effectiveness, including messaging reinforcement, discovery, value-based selling, and objection handling.
- Cross-functional coordination: Act as a key collaborator across Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing, Operations, Product, business line leaders and other relevant R1 stakeholders to ensure enablement efforts are aligned, timely, and supportive of broader growth initiatives.
- Enablement infrastructure and tools: Help manage and optimize enablement platforms, content organization, and governance to ensure sellers have easy access to relevant, up-to-date resources.
- Performance insights and feedback: Gather input from the field and performance data to identify enablement gaps and opportunities, informing continuous improvement of programs and materials.
- Measurement and impact: Partner with Sales Leadership and commercial operations to track enablement effectiveness using metrics such as time-to-ramp, readiness completion, pipeline velocity, and other sales performance indicators.
Required Skills:
- Sales enablement experience, sales operations or related GTM roles, with experience supporting and executing on enablement programs
- Experience working with sales and solution teams in complex B2B environments; healthcare or revenue cycle experience strongly preferred.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while bringing structure and clarity to execution.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical, scalable programs and tools.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience facilitating training or enablement sessions.
- Flexible, growth mindset with ability to evolve and meet the needs of the business
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking program effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Experience with sales related tools such as Miller Heiman/KF Sells blue sheets, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Definitive Healthcare, HubSpot, etc.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, OpenAI tools) and familiarity with CRM and enablement platforms such as Salesforce and Workday.
- Instructional Design Certificate Preferred
