The Role
As a Sales Enablement Trainer Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of our Sales, Client Sucess, and Technical Support teams. You will design and deliver training programs that empower these teams to effectively communicate and sell our cyber security solutions. Collaborating closely with sales leadership, product teams, and marketing, you will ensure the content and approach are aligned with business goals and the ever-changing cyber security landscape.
Your focus will be on creating impactful, scalable training initiatives that not only improve individual performance but also strengthen team collaboration and sales effectiveness.
What You’ll Do
Deliver training programs for the Sales, Customer Success (CS), and Technical Support (TS) teams. Focus on enabling teams to confidently apply cybersecurity product knowledge, consultative selling techniques, and messaging provided by Product and Marketing teams. Drive program effectiveness through engaging formats and outcome-based learning.
Technical Product Knowledge: Deliver engaging product training sessions based on materials and messaging developed by Product and Product Marketing. Ensure the field teams understand how to apply technical knowledge in real-world selling scenarios.
Lead onboarding programs for new sales reps, ensuring they understand our products, services, and industry trends, while quickly ramping up to full productivity.
Provide continuous training on new products, features, market trends, competitors, and emerging cyber security threats to ensure the team stays informed and ahead of the curve.
Provide training on consultative selling, objection handling, solution selling, and advanced sales techniques tailored to the cyber security market.
Utilize and adapt training materials developed by Product Marketing (e.g., slide decks, one-sheets, competitive battle cards) to deliver effective enablement sessions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to package these assets into scalable training programs.
Implement Sales Tools: Collaborate with the sales operations team to ensure the team is effectively using sales tools (CRM, sales automation, etc.), providing training and support as needed.
Partner with Product Marketing to stay current on competitive insights and differentiation strategies and translate this knowledge into actionable training programs for the Sales and Customer Success teams.
Keep the sales team informed of the latest trends in cyber security threats, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements to enhance their ability to sell with authority.
Develop effective metrics and evaluate the impact of training programs on sales performance, making data-driven improvements to continuously enhance results.
Provide one-on-one coaching to sales reps based on performance metrics, helping them overcome challenges and continuously improve their skills.
Work closely with sales leadership to identify training gaps and develop targeted programs to improve individual and team performance.
Act as a liaison between GTM teams and Product Marketing to ensure training reflects current messaging, product releases, and use cases. Support the rollout of product and feature updates by delivering aligned enablement sessions.
Partner with Product Marketing to integrate newly developed positioning, messaging, and competitive content into ongoing training programs and onboarding initiatives.
Internal Knowledge Sharing: Organize internal webinars, lunch-and-learns, or knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the sales team engaged and informed.
What You’ll Bring:
At least 5 years in sales enablement, training, or similar technical role - preferably in a cyber security or tech environment.
A deep understanding of cyber security products, solutions, and industry trends. You should be comfortable explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms and able to train both technical and non-technical teams effectively.
Strong knowledge of consultative selling, sales enablement strategies, and sales methodologies. Experience training sales and technical teams on cyber security products is highly preferred.
Exceptional ability to create engaging content, lead training sessions, and provide feedback. Comfort in facilitating both in-person and virtual training.
Experience coaching and mentoring teams, helping individuals grow in both technical knowledge and sales performance.
Data-driven, able to assess training success using measurable KPIs and performance outcomes.
