Position Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Enablement Specialist at Spirit Electronics in Phoenix, AZ. This position will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, researching, and qualifying new business opportunities by staying on top of industry news, trends, and contract awards. Additionally, you will be responsible for qualifying leads gained from marketing campaigns, trade shows, and other sales/marketing efforts via communications, research, and other relevant means. As the first point of contact for new leads, you will play a key role in fueling our sales pipeline and supporting new revenue growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other staff to obtain information to create communications and develop sales/marketing materials for use in customer outreach, sales support, etc.
  • Supports marketing activities through market and industry research.
  • Supports the execution of sales and marketing projects, in collaboration with the marketing and technical sales teams
  • Write and edit company communications including both internal and external.
  • Write informational and technical content, including correspondence, technical summaries, etc.
  • Continuously track semiconductor industry news, market trends, M&A activity, and government or commercial contract awards using news sources, alerts, and market research tools.
  • Curate and summarize relevant insights for sales, marketing, and executive teams.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities and sales leads from contract awards, RFPs, industry developments, and competitor movements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical sales teams to assess the viability and strategic fit of leads.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for new leads generated through monitoring or marketing campaigns.
  • Engage prospects via email, phone, or digital channels to gather key information and qualify leads.
  • Maintain and update CRM records with accurate lead details and qualification status.
  • Work closely with Technical Sales to transition qualified leads and ensure a smooth handoff.
  • Plan and implement marketing efforts for Spirit in conformity with company goals and objectives.
  • Participates in strategic communications planning for Spirit projects and initiatives.
  • Determine target markets to expand Spirit’s audience base and how they will best be reached.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing and informational materials.
  • Develop and coordinate sales/marketing research.
  • Collaborate with staff to obtain information for promotion of Spirit events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field 
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in sales enablement, marketing, customer relations, technical sales, or a related field. 
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical personnel. 
  • Proven track record of successful communications, implementation, and evaluation. 
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with social media management tools
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently


Preferred Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge in Aerospace & Defense or Semiconductor industries a plus.
  • Experience in strategic communication planning
  • Experience in best practices of communication and marketing methods and techniques
  • Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and practices of project management
  • Experience in communication assessment, editing, research, and summary
  • Evidence of effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in oral/written/media presentation
  • Experience in planning and creating communication resources using various communication styles
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with team, staff, and a variety of internal and external constituents
