Ready to join an amazing team of marketing and communication professionals? We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to own the launch and adoption of specific Vertafore solutions. You’ll act as the voice of the customer to continue to transform our marketing messages in ways that help our customers adapt to a quickly changing technology market.

You’ll work closely with various internal teams and your internal marketing partners. You’ll collaborate on product positioning, market plans, core product collateral, and sales enablement plans. You’ll help test and optimize new ways to engage customers. And you’ll use insights and analytics to inform how we adapt, segment our messages, and evolve our demand programs.

Core Requirements And Responsibilities

Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Be the marketing lead on assigned products for all marketing activities (product launch, product messaging, product assets, product adoption, and product demand generation)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create marketing plans to support product and feature launch priorities
  • Own value messaging around assigned products and be able to demonstrate our top differentiators and articulate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for various products
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adapt to drive further engagement
  • Support overall adoption and engagement for assigned products by partnering with Customer Success and other departments to deliver consistent customer touchpoints and tools.
  • Build strong relationships and alignment on priorities with Product Management

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant B2B or B2C digital marketing, product marketing discipline, or product management
  • Demonstrated success at collaborating on launching new products and features
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex messages to easy-to-understand messaging
  • Detailed oriented and sets a high threshold for quality
  • Self-motivated with drive and determination to succeed
  • A team player – prepared to do what it takes to meet the goals of the team
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communication, or other relevant field preferred
