Are you a proactive and creative product marketing professional with a deep understanding of the financial sector? Flybits is looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our team and play a key role in shaping and executing product marketing strategies that drive our growth. As a Product Marketing Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies, driving product messaging, and ensuring product positioning aligns with market needs and company objectives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are successfully positioned and our audience is engaged. If you have 5+ years of experience in product marketing, particularly within the financial services or fintech space, and are passionate about crafting compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences, we want to hear from you!
This role is a hybrid position requiring you to be on-site in our Yonge-Dundas Square Office three times a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends, especially within the financial services and fintech sectors. Leverage insights to inform product marketing strategies.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Collaborate with product managers & marketing to craft and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements. Ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Product Messaging & Positioning: Develop clear and compelling product messaging and positioning of our products, solutions and features, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels. Tailor messaging to various audiences, including financial services professionals, fintech innovators, and enterprise clients.
- Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with the tools, training, and resources they need to effectively communicate product value. Create product-related content such as brochures, presentations, case studies, and competitive battle cards.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Partner closely with marketing, product management, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to ensure the product strategy is aligned with customer needs and company objectives.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Marketing experience within the financial services or fintech sectors.
- Strong financial sector expertise, with the ability to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry and translate that into effective product positioning.
- Creative and proactive approach: Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative, compelling marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive messaging for a range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external customers.
- Data-driven mindset: Strong analytical skills to measure campaign performance and drive optimization strategies.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in startup/scale-up environments: Ability to move between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution in fast-paced settings.
- Design skills: Experience in designing creative product materials or working closely with design teams to bring marketing concepts to life.
- Global perspective: Familiarity with marketing products in a global context, understanding the nuances of international markets, especially in fintech and financial services.
