Description

The Product Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the market and our product offerings. You’ll act as Exclaimer’s expert in customer insights, market trends, and competitor positioning. With an analytical mindset and a data-driven approach, you'll help to craft compelling value propositions and go-to-market (GTM) strategies that resonate with buyers and drive success across sales channels.

Collaboration lies at the heart of this role. Working alongside teams in product, marketing, sales, and customer success, you'll help shape the narrative around Exclaimer’s solutions, ensuring our products deliver value while staying attuned to customer pain points. Through your constant monitoring of the market and close relationship with our customers, you’ll ensure that the business has a strong understanding of what is valuable to the buyer and how to best communicate that value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become Exclaimer’s go-to expert for understanding customer and market insights.
  • Conduct ongoing research to uncover customer pain points, behaviors, and motivations.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to gather feedback and actionable insights.
  • Monitor competitors to analyze their strengths, weaknesses, and positioning, ensuring we craft clear differentiation strategies.
  • Partner with the product team to validate solutions and gather the necessary data to ensure fit and usability, minimizing risks at launch.
  • Develop data-driven GTM strategies to take new products and features to market successfully.
  • Define clear, compelling product positioning for new releases that addresses customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Partner with the product team to craft minimal marketable products and validate solutions to ensure they are market-ready and impactful.
  • Partner with the product team to share ownership of product vision and strategy, bringing valuable customer and market insights into roadmap discussions.
  • Assist the product team in identifying customers for interviews to enrich product development with real-world input.
  • Support internal teams in understanding our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and buyer personas to improve targeting and messaging across channels.
  • Support the marketing team by acting as a consultant for the creation of product-related materials such as website pages, case studies, and brochures.
  • Develop and deliver effective tools and resources for sales enablement, including training programs and content to help sales and channel teams communicate Exclaimer’s value effectively.
  • Keep revenue generation at the forefront, aligning product efforts with demand generation strategies.
  • Ensure product teams remain mindful of how their work impacts overall revenue, growth, and business goals.

Skills, Knowledge,and Expertise

  • Proven expertise working with the IT persona, specifically within the B2B SaaS space.
  • Experience conducting and analyzing market research to inform product and marketing decisions.
  • Ability to monitor and interpret competitive intelligence to influence strategy.
  • Demonstrable success in creating value propositions, GTM strategies, and customer-focused campaigns.
  • Strong skills in developing and delivering effective sales and marketing enablement materials.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a focus on collaboration.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • A deep understanding of solving customer problems.
