This role is responsible for playing a pivotal role in shaping the success of our SaaS solutions by effectively communicating value to our target audience, the small business owner. This role will be managing strategic product launches that drive growth and user adoption and executing marketing strategies to drive optimization and improve upon existing and new materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develops product positioning and messaging that resonates with small businesses. Crafts clear, concise, and persuasive value propositions that differentiate our SaaS solutions and compel our target users to convert.
  • Generates content that will resonate with a small business owner, toning down the tech speak and focus on our solutions' benefits. Creates impactful product marketing content, including video scripts, product sheets, battle cards, and sales plays. Knows how to create compelling copy and is an even better copy editor, ensuring product marketing's content maintains a consistent tone and voice.
  • Participates in full product lifecycle launches, from planning to execution, at the speed and scale required of SaaS and AI solutions. Manages product launch bill of materials for the marketing organization, create timelines, and communicate launch readiness to the marketing leadership team. Collaborates with cross-functional teams (product, sales, customer success, training) to ensure successful product introductions.
  • Contributes to product adoption initiatives, leveraging product-led growth principles to drive user self-upgrading programs. Develops user engagement programs to increase retention and satisfaction. Understands cross-sell/upsell strategies to increase net-dollar retention and partners with the email and customer lifecycle teams on product update campaigns.
  • Collaborates with Sales to generate and lead SaaS MRR growth-focused sales plays with messaging and positioning targeted at high growth segments. Develops sales enablement programs supporting concurrent multi-offer sales plays that result in predictable recurring revenue growth.
  • Participates in our competitive insights program and influence cross-organizational marketing activities based on competitive product differentiators. Identifies new vertical or industry growth vectors by analyzing customer data and industry trends. Leverages data and insights to inform and improve product marketing strategies.

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required
  • 2+ years of related experience, required.
  • 5+ years of related experience, preferred.
  • Business acumen with big picture thinking and the ability to expand and increase the quality and value of product positioning and competitive landscape through story-telling and solving for client pain points.
  • Industry knowledge with an understanding of the product marketing lifecycle and the ability to lead through strategic and tactical marketing plans, leveraging data and tools to drive optimization and improvements.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively influence others, collaborate across teams, and foster relationships.
  • Knowledge of B2B SaaS, Marketing Automation (Hubspot), CRM (Salesforce) and sales software with the ability to utilize industry related tools such as AI tools like ChatGPT and MSFT co-pilot and excellent PPT deck creation capabilities.
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and product launches with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Skilled in content creation and value positioning relating to product and marketing expertise with the ability to deliver new and innovative solutions to drive product value, messaging, and launch.
  • Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
  • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
