At Upland Knowledge and Contact Center Management, we help organizations deliver world-class knowledge management and contact center solutions to organizations across the globe. As Product Marketing Manager for the RightAnswers product, you’ll shape how our knowledge management product is positioned, messaged, and brought to market. You’ll play a critical role in connecting product innovation with customer needs – turning complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling stories that drive awareness, adoption, and growth.   

Product Marketing is a critical component in creating and executing effective go-to-market strategies at Upland. Our goal is to create consistency and scalability across our portfolio while also celebrating the uniqueness of each product. This role is ideal for someone who is highly collaborative, contributing not only to the success of RightAnswers but also the broader product marketing team. You take initiative, enjoy being strategic as well as rolling up your sleeves to execute, and thrive working cross-functionally.   

 

Primary Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):  

As a valued member of our dynamic Knowledge and Contact Center Management product marketing team, you will be the go-to person for the RightAnswers product within our Business Unit’s portfolio. You will play an integral part in crafting strategy, gathering intel, and creating content to support both our customers and internal stakeholders. You’ll not only work closely with your product marketing teammates, but also cross-functionally with teams including customer success, sales, product, and marketing.    

Positioning & Messaging: Develop compelling, differentiated value propositions and messaging that clearly communicate benefits and resonate with target audiences.  

Content Development: Create impactful sales enablement tools and customer-facing assets—including presentations, collateral, case studies, and more—in close collaboration with the broader marketing team.  

Go-to-Market Strategy: Translate product roadmaps into clear market-facing strategies; plan and execute successful launches for new products and features that drive excitement and adoption.  

Sales Enablement & Readiness: Equip Sales and Customer Success with the training, messaging, and competitive insights they need to effectively position and sell RightAnswers.  

Market and Competitive Insights: Distill market, customer, and competitive intelligence into thoughtful analysis and insights that strengthen our market position and inform product strategy. 

 

Requirements (Who You Are):  

  • 3-6 years of product marketing or related B2B SaaS GTM experience 
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical features into compelling, customer-friendly stories and value propositions 
  • Proven experience developing and delivering on go-to-market strategies that drive successful sales enablement and adoption 
  • Aptitude for understanding product functionality and relevant technical nuances and communicating that in an accessible way 
  • Comfort working in a highly cross-functional, remote, fast-paced environment 
  • Customer-centric, inquisitive mindset 
  • Experience creating clear and compelling GTM assets, including market-facing content like blogs, guides, one-pagers, and pitch decks 
  • Track record of being a team player; with an ability to make an impact in your product area but also contribute to the wide success of the product marketing team 
  • Solid understanding of and experience with the evolving AI landscape is a must 
  • Existing understanding of (or experience with) Knowledge Management technology and methodologies is a major plus 

 Desired Skills:   

  • Experience supporting enterprise B2B software products  
  • Familiarity with intelligence and market research and analytics best practices  
  • Experience collaborating closely with product management and demand gen marketing teams  
  • Comfort presenting to both internal and external audiences  
  • Strong usage of Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel  
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to shape messaging, positioning, and GTM strategies; this includes experience with Salesforce   
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro a plus 
  •  Understanding of contact center software and the general market and competitive landscape is a major plus
