Job summary 工作概要
- The primary purpose of this position is to provide high quality monitoring and insights on competitor products, competitor pipelines and competitor medical and commercial strategies, enabling Novo Nordisk Region China to make informed decisions to ensure current and future success of our portfolio of products within related therapeutic areas.
Further, this position contributes to portfolio analyses and projects on intelligence topics of special interest to Novo Nordisk Region China and contributes to the continued improvement of the competitive intelligence function and application of competitor insights in Novo Nordisk Region China
Key responsibilities 重要职责
Competitor insights
- Provide high quality and data driven news monitoring and insights related to the competitive landscape and competitor strategies within areas of coverage. Areas of coverage are agreed with your manager and subject to change.
- Follow scientific congresses within areas of coverage and report key insights timely and in high quality to relevant stakeholders
- Develop and maintain competitor overview and insights at CI portal
- Follow and report on Novo Nordisk Region China’s key competitors, as assigned
Project and brand support
- Ensure strong support to Novo Nordisk Region China’s key R&D projects and commercial brands within areas of coverage on project, portfolio and corporate level. Project coverage is agreed with your manager and subject to change.
Projects on key intelligence topics
- Lead projects on key intelligence topics (KIT) of strategic interest to Novo Nordisk Region China
Competitive Intelligence function development
- Contribute to continuous development and further improve the competitive intelligence function and deliverables in Novo Nordisk Region China and promote sharing of competitive intelligence insights and better practices.
- Build and maintain a strong network internally across the organization with relevant stakeholders in HQCI, CMRQ, BD, MAPA, etc.
Education 教育背景
MD/PhD within Medicine or Life/Pharmaceutical Sciences or master’s degree with 3+ years of working experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience 经验
- Ideally (but not mandatory) some experience in professionally communicating scientific, medical and commercial information, both orally and written, to audiences at various organisational levels, including senior management and governance boards.
- Insights into relevant aspects for the development and marketing of drugs for areas of coverage, including:
- Strong science and disease understanding.
- Strong understanding of design and execution of clinical trials.
- Strong ability to interpret clinical data.
- Solid understanding of regulatory processes and guidelines.
- Good marketing understanding.
- Good manufacturing insight.
