We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and ambitious Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) to support the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution of our product portfolio — while also playing a key role in our Analyst Relations (AR) program. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketer who wants to develop broad, strategic skills at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing.
You will work closely with our SVP of product marketing, product management, and sales to help bring products to market and create content that enables the sales team to win. On the analyst relations side, you will coordinate and support the logistics, research, and execution that keep our relationships with key industry analysts running smoothly. You'll be mentored and given increasing ownership as you grow in the role.
The ideal candidate will be based in the SF Bay area, and able to work on-site at HQ in Mountain View, CA, 3-4 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Product Marketing
-
Assist in developing and refining product positioning and messaging by researching target personas, customer pain points, and competitive alternatives.
-
Support product launch execution by coordinating timelines, drafting content briefs, and ensuring cross-functional teams stay on track.
-
Create and maintain sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, FAQs, battlecards, and slide decks under the guidance of senior PMMs.
-
Conduct competitive research and monitoring, tracking competitor messaging, pricing, and product updates and summarizing findings for internal stakeholders.
-
Partner with demand generation and content teams to support campaign messaging and ensure consistency across marketing channels.
-
Assist with customer and market research efforts, including interview coordination, survey analysis, and synthesis of buyer insights.
-
Help maintain the product marketing content library, keeping assets up to date and accessible for sales and marketing teams.
Analyst Relations
-
Support the day-to-day operations of the AR program, including scheduling briefings and inquiries, coordinating logistics, and maintaining the analyst contact database.
-
Assist in preparing briefing materials — slide decks, backgrounders, and supporting documentation — in collaboration with senior PMMs, product managers, and executives.
-
Track and maintain the AR calendar, including key analyst research cycles, evaluation submission deadlines, and renewal timelines for analyst subscriptions.
-
Monitor and distribute analyst research, reports, and commentary relevant to our market, summarizing key takeaways for internal stakeholders.
-
Support the submission process for analyst evaluations (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave) by gathering inputs, coordinating responses, and managing documentation.
-
Maintain an internal AR tracker and knowledge base, logging briefing outcomes, analyst sentiment, and follow-up actions.
-
Research analyst backgrounds, coverage areas, and recent publications to help prepare internal spokespeople ahead of engagements.
About You:
-
1–3 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, corporate marketing, or a related field — OR a recent graduate with a strong internship background in B2B marketing.
-
Some exposure to or familiarity with analyst relations, PR, or communications is a plus but not required.
-
Experience in a B2B or SaaS environment is preferred.
-
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise content for business audiences.
-
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and project coordination skills — able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without dropping the ball.
-
A research-oriented mindset: comfortable synthesizing information from multiple sources into clear, actionable summaries.
-
Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and able to ramp quickly in a fast-paced environment.
-
Collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
-
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Jira, or marketing automation platforms is a plus.
-
Proficiency with automating work with AI tools is a plus.
Nice to Have:
-
Coursework or certification in product marketing (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product Marketing Alliance).
-
Exposure to analyst relations.
-
Experience working with or supporting executive stakeholders.
