Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Enablement Manager to join our team. The Sales Enablement Manager will play a critical role in supporting our Sales team by equipping them with the knowledge, and resources they need to be successful. This individual will be responsible for creating and delivering effective training on tools, processes and sales craft to equip our Sales Team with all the knowledge they need to succeed.
Description
Content Development
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create high-impact sales collateral, presentations, and training materials.
- Ensure content aligns with the latest industry trends, product updates, and competitive intelligence.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy to drive the success of our sales team.
Training and Development
- Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs for onboarding and ongoing professional development.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to create training content that enhances product knowledge, objection handling, and sales techniques.
Sales Process Optimization
- Analyze and optimize existing sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to identify and address specific sales challenges and opportunities.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of sales enablement programs and make data-driven improvements.
- Develop and maintain a structured sales playbook that guides the sales team through various stages of the sales cycle.
Technology Integration
- Evaluate, implement, and manage sales enablement technologies to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with RevOps team members and stakeholders to implement and integrate new systems for improved efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in messaging, product knowledge, and customer experience.
- Act as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the sales team.
Sales Enablement will own, amongst other things, these five pillars
Sales Coaching
- Work with Sales Leadership to build coaching programs in order to up-level the team.
- Make data-driven decisions about areas where coaching is needed.
- Identify missing steps in our sales process or missing collateral in our prospect engagements
Training
- Work with SMEs from various areas across the business to build the trainings that need to be delivered to the Sales teams, covering, but not limited to, the following: tools, messaging, processes, sales methodology, product releases and more.
- Build scalability by templatizing the engagements, allowing for time to focus on applying the Sales Enablement lens to trainings in the partnership with SMEs.
- Build different training types from live trainings to self-serve courses.
Communication
- Be the agent that helps reduce the noise for the Sales team.
- Own communication from SMEs to Sales stakeholders beyond trainings.
- Manage the weekly newsletter.
- Define expectations and guidelines for SMEs to optimize impact of their work on Sales.
Enablement Tools Management
- Ownership and management of tools such as Gong, Highspot, the Sales & RevOps intranet and other Sales Enablement systems.
Onboarding and Everboarding
- Build 30/60/90 plans for onboarding roles across the Sales & RevOps org.
- Ensure assets are available for everboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or a related role within a B2B environment for a minimum of 3 years.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in content creation including training materials.
- Familiarity with sales enablement tools and technologies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to bring innovative ideas to enhance sales enablement strategies.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to lead and manage change initiatives within a sales organization.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Background in sales, customer success or account management.
- Knowledge of Hotel Industry trends and challenges.
- Active participation in sales enablement or industry-related professional associations.
- Experience planning and executing on a successful Sales Kick Off event.
