About the role:

Reporting to the VP Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Director is responsible for developing go-to-market strategy and execution, and creating positioning, packaging and messaging for new product solutions. You will drive the cross-functional product commercialization process, working closely with Product, Sales, Success and the larger Marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to make a major impact in the company, the digital publishing industry, and the world; and to lead a wide variety of programs and initiatives. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Market Research - Through primary and secondary research, develop in-depth knowledge of our market, buyer personas, competitors and partners. Educate the company on market requirements, trends and competitor capabilities.
  • Positioning & Messaging - Become an expert on our products and their unique value to customers. Develop competitive differentiation, persuasive messaging, and impactful storytelling around our capabilities and solutions.
  • GTM Strategy - Define and own go-to-market strategy; collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to develop integrated marketing plans; launch new products to the market; and measure success.
  • Collateral - Create compelling materials such as slide decks, case studies, product explainers, one-pagers, and videos, collaborating with product owners, stakeholders and designers.
  • Sales & Success Enablement - Build materials and train Sales and Success teams to help drive new customer acquisition and product adoption, and for key product launches.
  • Specialize in either our Publisher or demand-side (SSP) businesses.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Marketing team to execute and/or participate in webinars and virtual and in-person events.
  • Team Development - As the company grows, hire top talent and manage a team of experts to scale product marketing capabilities.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience at a B2B2C ad tech company, brand, publisher and/or social platform
  • Deep understanding of the digital publishing and ad tech spaces, and the importance of audience data for personalization and optimization
  • Experience building, executing and measuring product launch go-to-market plans
  • Superb verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with metrics, and a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to influence and motivate colleagues across cross-functional teams
  • Accustomed to the fast-paced environment of a growing tech unicorn 
  • Prior experience in stakeholder roles such as Sales and Success is a plus but not required
  • Independent leader and team collaborator
  • Willingness to travel as needed, mostly within the US, potentially also EMEA
  • Master multitasker and able to quickly adapt in a changing environment
  • BA/BS degree preferred, MBA or advanced degree a plus

What You'll Get:

The compensation package for the Product Marketing Director role includes an annual salary ranging between $180,000- $240,000 OTE (based on candidates' experience and skill set). Additionally, this role is eligible for equity, and benefits, including:
