The Role:

Reporting to the Competitive Insights Senior Manager within the Market Strategy team, the Competitive Insights Associate will be supporting Sales, Product, and Marketing teams by running in-depth analyses on the competitive landscape and providing guidance on competitive advantages, product positioning, and market fit.  


This person will be responsible for ensuring DailyPay Sales, Product, and Marketing teams have the maximum amount of knowledge on the competitive landscape as is possible. They will be responsible for developing data collection strategy and pulling insights into strategic deliverables

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Establishing processes to ensure intel remains up to date and organized
  • Tracking competitors through CI software, monitoring Slack channels, and synthesizing data
  • Maintaining the competitive intelligence repository, updating content based on current organizational needs
  • Creating comparative frameworks to differentiate DailyPay’s product offering from competing offerings in the market
  • Advising Sales and Customer Success teams on strategies to mitigate competitive threats
  • Identifying data needs to substantiate key differentiators and working with data teams to maintain the accuracy of stats
  • Contributing to quarterly win/loss report, to be leveraged by marketing, product, sales, and executive teams
  • Maintaining reporting strategy for CI efforts within DailyPay, to track the success of initiatives
  • Tracking cross-team dependencies, defining agendas and attendee lists for sync meetings
  • Managing deliverable requests from internal teams
  • Representing CI team in Sales deals & CS churn risk meetings
  • Relaying sales feedback into future collateral creation


What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Product Marketing, CI, and/or Business Analysis experience
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • History working with cross-functional teams
  • Proven integrity and ability to navigate difficult questions and requests
  • Experience translating data and market trends into strategic insights
  • Experience or strong interest in FinTech 
  • Flexibility to learn on an accelerated curve and adapt quickly to changing needs
  • Fiercely collaborative, unapologetically competitive


What We Offer:

The target base salary range for this position is $68,900 to $99,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by a variety of factors including candidate experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, market location, and internal compensation equity.
