Job Overview
The Associate Product Marketing Manager provides content development and campaign execution support as a member of the Learning A-Z Product Marketing team.
This person will support the growth of Learning A-Z products by assisting Product Marketers with the positioning of products within the Learning A-Z portfolio and then echoing and amplifying that positioning through the design and execution of high-impact collateral and multi-channel campaigns. This role requires a highly motivated, self-starter with an excellent understanding of how to convert product features and positioning information into engaging content to draw the interest and attention of key audiences within the U.S. K-5 education space.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops a solid understanding of the Learning A-Z product portfolio including product functionality, features, target audience, use cases, and value proposition
- Develops a strong understanding of the U.S. K-5 education space, including key roles and personas that regularly engage with Learning A-Z products
- Establishes tight alignment with the product marketing managers and product managers, ensuring all efforts work cohesively to achieve common goals
- Effectively translates marketing campaign goals, source materials, and messaging frameworks into high impact collateral and content in support of overall campaign strategy
- Meets a consistent threshold of on-time delivery for all work-product
- Builds a dedicated relationship with in-house Creative, Customer, and ABM marketing teams to help ensure that work moves through the development pipeline in an efficient manner
- Reviews campaign performance metrics and other available marketing intelligence to establish a cycle of continuous improvement
- A 4 year degree in marketing, communication or related experience is strongly desired.
- 1-3 years of experience in product marketing and/or K-5 education is preferred.
- Solid understanding of the education space (K-5 literacy a plus)
- Self-starter, owner, driver
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and write effective marketing content for use in various channels (email, social media, digital advertising, etc.)
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a clear sense of priorities.
- Clear understanding of how to leverage a variety of marketing channels (i.e. email, web) to help engage and enable customers post-purchase.
